This is the best pack I've ever owned! I used it for travel and intend to use it for college and work as well. Love the organization options and it fits perfect on my back and feels light while carrying it. I'm 5'7.

This backpack seems to be perfect for a middle schooler that has to carry literally every book and notebook all day long. And also has plenty of room for his lunchbox and water bottle and anything else he might need.

Son reports the padding and straps are comfortable. He goes to a huge high school so he has to pack his books far from his locker. Zippers are holding up to the wear and tear.

Really sturdy and big backpack. It has plenty of different compartments (and compartments within compartments). It is very versatile. My one complaint though is it only just barely fits a full-size 1-liter nalgene water bottle in the side mesh pockets.

Great backpack! I bought this for my sixth grade son because he needed a bigger backpack. I thought it might be a bit overkill but it's perfect. Very roomy and he loves all the pockets and compartments.

Pleasantly surprised at just how many clothes (rolled) I could fit, was able to fit five days worth, plus toiletries, flip flops, chargers and laptop (utilizing all the compartments). The semi-solid back and shoulder straps felt comfortable waking around with all those clothes. The easy access small top pocket was very handy for quick reach items (i.e. wallet/ keys).

Very pleased with this bag! It has lots of space for my 13 year old son that refuses to use his school locker and therefore carries everything with him all day. It's very comfortable and very high quality.

I've been using this for work, since I need to walk a lot between a few buildings up and down a mountain! It's big enough to hold a few large binders, my tablet, and a whole lot more. Plus the waist best keeps the weight off my shoulders.

Enough room for school books and computer, music gear, lunch box, snow pants, and the essential toys.

I bought this not for hiking but for taking my workout clothes, soap, wash cloth and towel to the gym every morning. It works perfectly. It has all the compartments I need to put stuff like my keys, cell phone, ear buds and combination lock in. It's very roomy. I can fit it all in nicely. It's comfortable to carry and I love having it.

Good looking, durable, and roomy. Perfect pack for a college student. It has a lot of space for books and a laptop. Nice spot to hold a water bottle and smaller zipped areas that helps the student stay organized.

I have been buying my son LL Bean back packs since he started kindergarten. I've only ever had to buy new ones because he outgrew them. This was purchased for my son for his freshman year in college! He needed a bigger bag that could support his electronics, water bottle and all his books/notebooks. It's exactly as expected. I know this will last him through college and on to grad school.

Bought this for my 6'3" high school son. Perfect for all his books and chromebook. Will take it to college. One strap started to fray and detach. Llbean gave us a new pack without any hassle. Worth every penny.

Good size for high school, durable and more sturdy water bottle holders on the sides

Replacing one that has served him well for over 10 years, but had an unfortunate accident. The quality of Beans packs can't be beat.

I can pack it big or I can pack small and light. I use my for work. Laptop, day planner, files, desk accessories, etc. perfect!

Perfect fit for my 14 yr old son! He can put everything in it for school!
