I bought my husband a pair of these socks at least 12 years ago. He wore them a great deal on jobs he was on in the wilderness doing construction of roads etc. He loved them. A few years back he was seriously injured on the job with the result of having problems with circulation in both legs. He began to wear that one pair of socks more and more til they finally began to wear out. That is why I just ordered two more and will probably do so again. They are top quality and keep his feet warm when other socks are not able to do so. Thank you LL Bean for your high quality materials and commitment to excellence.

Great fit and love wearing them

Warm, soft and comfortable. No bunching or uncomfortable seams. I spend a lot of time outdoors in winter and these keep my feet about as warm as any socks.

You get what you pay for with these socks. I use these for winter hiking with my higher cut, heavier-duty winter hiking boots. They keep my feet warm and dry, but even better, they stay put on your foot and don't slide down and around or bunch up like cheaper socks which have no construction to prevent such disappointing performance. Cheap "boot" socks are usually just cheap tube socks. Not these LLB boot socks, however.b

I was looking for some good quality made in the USA socks and I have to say these socks are awesome!!! Price is high, but you get what you pay for....good socks.

My daughter needs to go to north with a very cold weather in the winter. I looked around and tried to find very warm but comfortable socks for her. I did a lot of research online and decided to give this one a try due to the excellent customer reviews. I bought one pair and it arrived quickly. I let my daughter try on when I got it and she loved it immediately. She said that she has never had such comfortable and warm socks before. She asked me to buy more so I just placed another order a couple of days ago to buy two more pairs. She usually wears size 6.5 - 7 shoes. I bought her size medium socks but it is a little bit big so I changed to size small this time. It should be a perfect size for her. She can wear boots with these warm socks and don't have to worry about the cold weather.

Socks are wonderful, warm and not too thick. I can wear with my waterproof boots or my clogs.

These socks are amazing. Warm, comfortable, machine wash and dry with no problems. It seems like the more you wash them the warmer and softer they become. The insides of these socks are so comfortable. I find myself wearing them for slipper socks, hate to take them off.

I live and work in a greenhouse in South Caroline where it is humid and can get very hot, especially during the summer months. I have been wearing L.L. Bean socks in the greenhouse for years. The thickness that I wear varies but they all are very comfortable. The wool and wicking away of moisture factor really works. I especially love the thickness and cushioning of the Boot Socks for all weather, they are wonderful!

My husband just about flipped when he found out that I paid 20 bucks for a pair of socks. I bought the medium as recommended for a size 7 ladie's shoe size. They fit perfectly and the cushioning is really thick. Well worth the price. I wear them with western boots around the ranch and riding...they are great!

Warm, comfortable, cushioned sole is ideal for below zero temps. When searching for a warm sock I always look for a high percentage of merino wool in the fabric content. Launders well.

It's been such a cold winter that I decided to buy socks with wool in them. My feet feel warm & cushioned in these. They are thicker than most socks, but I had no problem wearing them in my shoes. I thought I would, but the socks seem to adapt (or compress) inside my shoes. I would buy these again.

I bought one pair to try. I wanted cushioning and warmth to wear with boots. These were perfect. They worked so well that I have been wearing them around the house to keep my feet warm during this very cold winter. After washing the first pair and finding that they washed w/o problems, I bought 5 more pair.

I work in the office at a steel mill, but I often have to put on my steel toed boots and hardhat and spend time out in the mill. These socks are cushioned in all the right places, and they really make heavy, clunky, steel-toed boots with metatarsal covers more comfy. I have two pairs of these, so I always have at least one clean pair at work. I have tried other boot socks, but these are the best!

These socks are the most comfortable soft socks I have ever worn. They are warm & toasty as well as keeping your feet dry. I plan on purchasing more of these to wear. Thanks for offering these to us they are really great quality. I love them!

These socks are very warm, thick, and comfortable. You get what you pay for!

Since finding these socks I have been very foot comfy. I love the thickness and perfect fit for my size 10 feet. I chose to wear them year around. Be careful since they are thicker than most and wearing them in my house slippers has stretched the slipper a bit. They wear a good long time without getting thinned out.

I experienced a problem with an injury to my left heel during 12 mile hike. I shopped for socks of a different thickness and found these to be perfect to protect my heel from overuse injury with the added benefit of extra comfort and snug fit. Thanks

I enjoy the outdoors and am obsessed with keeping my feet warm and dry. So I'm always searching for the perfect winter sock. I've been buying extra heavy hunting socks from another company for many years, but decided to try out the LLBean boot socks. I LOVE THEM! They are the best heavy weight wool socks I've ever owned. The inside is thick but soft and fluffy so it does a better job of wicking away moisture. The upper part has more "give" and doesn't cut off circulation, yet stays up fine. And it comes in a small (fits size 6) which has become harder to find. Thank you LLBean!

Very warm and comfortable. Love the support they give. Love that they come up to mid calf. They are a little expensive, but would buy them again.
