These socks are great. They are super warm and comfortable and fall right in the middle of my calf. I wear a women's shoe size 9 (8 in Bean boots) and I ordered a large. They are a bit big if I wear them by themselves but they fit perfectly if I have another smaller pair of socks underneath.

Pair Number 6 is on the way. They look small but fit perfectly. He is not putting them in the dryer but it is no trouble air drying next to his basement shop. He is watching over them in a protective manner and turning inside out to wash. The thickness is filling up shoes that have never fit so well. No shoe store can truly make him comfortable but these socks have him ecstatic. I just gave him one of my mesh laundry bags so he can remove it from the wash cycle easily and treat all the socks to the special care he thinks they deserve. The snugging arch is helping his pathologically flat foot love the socks also. Just don't discontinue his new friends and disappoint him.

I have 4 pairs of these socks. I would say they are the best socks for any hunting or work boots. I also wear them in the house in the winter. They are too thick to wear with any bedroom shoes but willl keep your feet warm. They hold up very well, I never write any good reviews on any items if that tells you what I think......5 stars.

Have been buying these boot socks for years as Christmas gifts for all the men in my family. They love these socks. Comfortable and warm especially when they are out there shoveling snow. One BIL works for the post office delivering mail. Says these socks are the best for those long days outside in the cold.

These socks are wonderful! Warm, thick, soft and made in the USA Yay!!! I don't have any complaints about these socks except for that i want more of them. I have 2 pair (one in each color) and they are both perfect for the cold snowy weather here. As far as fit, they fit perfectly according to the online size chart. My feet are finally warm and happy.

I purchased these socks to wear with my Wildcat Sport boots. I find them perfect for the boot, not too bulky and the right height for the boot.

ALTHOUGH I DIDN'T BUY THESE FOR MYSELF, THEY WERE A BIG HIT WHEN BOTH MY BROTHER AND COUSIN ASKED ME FOR ANOTHER PAIR AS THEY LIVED UP TO THE DESCRIPTION. THIS IS THE THIRD YEAR I HAVE PURCHASED THEM AND THEY DO KEEP THEIR FEET WARM AND COMFORTABLE, AT THIS RATE THEY WILL HAVE ONE SET FOR EVERYDAY OF THE WEEK.

I bought the LL Bean boot and I was wearing a regular thin socks, my feet start to hurt. My friend bought me a boot sock, it is amazing. Pain goes away!

Very comfortable, cushiony, not itchy. Very warm. I'm going to order a 2nd pair.

I know you are suppose to be bare foot while doing yoga but on a chilly morning these socks are much appreciated. Normally, a person would slide around if they wore socks while practicing yoga but these socks keep me grounded and they are so comfortable and warm.

These are thick enough to fill that extra space in his boot and the snugging arch support area keeps the sock from sliding about--a winning combination to go with winning boots from LLB.

I wear a 12 in dress shoes and a 13 in athletic shoes. This made it hard to know if I should order large, which fits sizes 9 to 12, or extra large, which fits sizes 13 to 15. I went with extra large, and they fit great both before and after a washing and drying cycle.

I bought this as a gift so don't know how it feels on but it looks perfect for wearing as a boot s sock.

I used these socks on a raw, wet November day for the first time since I bought them. They fit very comfortably, kept my feet nice and cozy, and didn't itch a bit. I'm very satisfied with this purchase and fully intend to buy another pair before the snow flies.

I bought one pair to see how well they fit and would last, but most importantly how warm me feet would stay. So far excellent, just bought 3 more pairs.

I work outdoors occasionally, and as soon as I got these socks I put them to work on a raw fall day. They were great! My feet were warm all day, and it was like walking around on soft cushions.

I use them for boot socks for all of my boots, including bean boots. Wear them fall & winter. Small fits my small foot without bunching, etc and they feel great.

I love our winters here in Western NY, but they can be very cold and snowy, so I am obsessed with keeping my feet warm and buying the best quality winter socks. I have been buying these LLBean socks for the past few years, and they keep getting better! They are very soft and warm and wick away moisture. Have just enough elastic to keep them up but never too tight. Cosy enough to wear to bed. Highly recommended to get you through any cold weather!

Camping in cold weather requires the best gear possible. These socks fit a slim woman's foot, cushions nicely without bunching of extra fabric and they work well with hiking boots. The wool is not itchy next to my skin, but provides the necessary warmth. Fits all my requirements.

For years I have used a different brand of Stretch Wool Socks for hiking, snow shoeing, or just keeping my feet warm and snug during colder weather months, The LL Bean boot socks are a high quality boot sock that provides extra padding at the front of the toes top and bottom as well as the heel of the sock. They are not too bulky, the socks stay up while active, and they wick away moisture when out on a hike. I had ordered one pair of these socks to give them a try. I will order several more pair next time around. These boot socks are what I come to expect from LL Bean. They're a little bit better than the competition and worth the selling price.

These are fabulous boot socks. They are comfortable and warm, and really well made. I live in the Los Angeles area which is not exactly cold (!) But I am elderly with bad circulation, and get cold feet in any weather. I love to use these socks in both boots and as slippers, padding around the house in them. Other sock brands will unravel under these conditions leaving what I call "sock worms" (colorful unraveled lint fragments) which drives my wife crazy. LLBean socks are as tough as everything else they make. Good work LLBean!

These socks are very comfortable and great for all day use.
