I wear a size 8 in women so I bought medium, which is labeled for women size 6-10. I washed them in cold gentle and tried one pair in the dryer and one pair line dry. Both pairs are not comfortable for me because they are way too tight in the toes. Im wearing a pair now to try them for the whole day and all I can think about is how my toes are squished. They are also a little tight elsewhere. I can probably get away with these in my size 8 boots but if my feet were any larger there's no way they would fit. I would say the medium size is more just for a women's size 6-7 I wanted these to wear around the house for comfort and a little warmth in winter but I'm worried about trying large. I would love a mostly or all cotton comfy sock to wear around the house.

I really enjoy wearing these socks, they are so soft and comfortable. Their size Large fits perfectly, and they are a perfect weight for my footwear. After about 2 weeks, though I treat them with care, the elastic threads in the cuff and the front of the toe stick out .

They definitely run small. Thick, with some stretch.

I love these thick, cozy socks to wear around the house without shoes.

Nice socks. I'm wearing them with running shoes for long distance walks and with leather shoes for spring yard cleanup. Temperatures here in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan have been running in the high 30s and low 40s and my feet aren't complaining.

I wear size 81/2-9 shoes and bought a large. They fit, but I prefer roomy socks, and could've used an XL. Very soft and comfortable.

I liked these socks, they're soft and comfortable. However after washing, they were too small for my feet. (8.5 U.S. mens shoe size.) I gave them to my wife, (6.5 women's shoe size.) and they fit her.

there is to much stretch that causes tightness, wish they were 100% cotton

I really like the look of these socks and they feel like good quality but they do not keep my feet as warm as I would have liked. I actually wore both pairs as two layers with boots while canoeing in England in February, so very cold climate. My toes were numb.

These socks are more stretchy than I had anticipated. I was hoping for a more cottony feel

The fleece fits well and looks great on! The colors are rich, the fabric is soft! I purchased 2 this time as gifts and my choice was a big hit!

They are very comfortable and just in time for the colder weather. My only regret is that they are not higher up the leg. They are nearly the same size as my cotton Summer-weight calf-length socks.

These are very nice socks and comfortable to wear. The one downside I found was that I thought they were a little small at first. A lot of elastic in them. I have long narrow feet - 10AA - and so I bought the larger size that was supposed to accommodate that shoe size, but my toes were a little squished at first. That has decreased with time. If you have wider, fuller feet, you might want to size up. Other than this I have found them to be very good socks and what I was looking for. I don't need wool ragg socks in my climate for my needs and glad to find the cotton ones.

Great socks, shrink a bit when washed. Have to stretch them out. Don't be afraid to order a larger size. Overall, good quality and always liked wearing theses.

I do like these. They're soft and stretchy. I like having the rag feel without also being loose. Like others have said though, they shrink on you feet. I find myself constantly pulling them up. Definitely size up.

I bought these for my husband but they were way too small for him. He wears a size 11 shoe. I wear a size 6 1/2 shoe and they fit me better, although a bit big for me. Very comfortable socks- I mostly wear them as slippers:)

A little to early to tell what kind of life these socks will have but out of the bag they are soft and comfy. Held up well to first few washes.

I've been looking everywhere for all cotton ragg socks, and these are the closest I've found. They are a cotton blend, so tighter and less breathable than all cotton, and they run very small. But still, pretty good!

I wasn't planning on buying wool socks, but I couldn't pass these up! I love the colors and they are nice and warm. I do agree with the other reviewers that they are a little tight-fitting so it's best to go up a size. I usually wear a small, but I went with a medium and I'm glad I did. So far I've only worn one pair but they are great for wearing around my condo when I'm working. They came out great in the wash as well. As a precaution, I let them air dry but it shouldn't hurt them to put them in the dryer

The socks are plush and soft. I read the reviews before I ordered so I ordered an X-large and I generally wear med. The socks fit perfectly . The reviews regarding sizing are accurate. I have not worn them yet so I remain hopeful.

Love these socks! I buy the same whenever I need new, but they last years. Sturdy knit and good quality. I wear them without shoes in the house. Got a pair on right now. The Cotton Ragg are my summer foot wear.
