The hat was a gift for my brother and he loved it..Well made and comfortable

I got this hat in the maroon color to match my gloves. I love it so much I am back to get the light sage green color. Fit is excellent & its warm. Love the logo on the front! Great price!

I purchased this as a Christmas gift for my son (40+). It has a sleek look and he was pleased.

Comfortable, warm, fits great, color is perfect, like that it can be rolled up or down to accommodate head size and coverage needs.

I have a fairly large head (size 7) and was a little leery of purchasing this beanie because it was described as "slightly fitted" and I hate tight knit hats. I needn't have worried, this beanie is very stretchy and comfortably fits my melon, in fact it is probably the most comfortable beanie I own. It's soft, not scratchy at all and warm. I'm very pleased with my purchase and might even buy another one.

This is a great beanie - well made - and offered at a most reasonable price. I bought 3 of them as I hate having a cold head when the wind is blowing outside. Very pleased with my purchases.

Since this was a gift that was shipped directly to the recipient, I never saw it; but I know it was very good since I have never been disapointed with any L.L. Bean product.

Awesome beanie. Not too warm but provides the perfect amount of warmth with no itch. Looks good on the head and not baggy.

I bought a black and a blue one. One for myself and the other for my son. We used them for the first time this past Sunday. The weather was windy and chilly along the boardwalk in Long Branch, NJ. Our heads were very comfortably warm and the material did not itch. I liked the appearance and the fact that the hats looked fashionable. I have several other beanies but this one is the most comfortable. With the arctic clipper this week I will wear it to go out in the elements as opposed to a baseball hat.

I purchased this item mainly because I needed a warm toboggan and the color I purchased was on sale (dusty purple). I like the looks of this hat, but it's a tad too fitted for my taste. I still wear it, but it's tighter than I would like. It is warm and the color is very nice- so two pluses there.

Nice and warm. Well made. Early I bought a couple flannel shirts too. They were nice fitting and well made too. However, I'll NEVER buy from LL Bean again.

This hat is well made and will pull over ears. Hat would be warmer if material was thicker.

I like these--simple, easy. I keep one clipped at the get up and let the puppers out door, which perhaps will save my neighbors from the shock of my bed head, and it works out fine. It hasn't stretched or shown any effects from being clipped with weight hanging from one spot. Black was seemingly larger than gray. Vibrant red ran largish, but despite loving reds and oranges, it was too bright. Looser is better for me in beanies--no headache. If you have a fit preference, it may be worth ordering a few colors.

The color is lighter than it looked online. Also, I have to roll the hat up a little so it stays on my head as it tends to ride up.I liked the price and the softness.
