Good quality, warm as advertised, good fit. I got one each for my sons and they've been wearing it ever since . I bought black and gray color. Really nice beanies.

I have several winter hats including another LLBean one but this is my favorite, because it fits a little looser and therefore is easier on my hair & bangs than other hats. It also keeps my head warm and doesn't itch. I would like to see other colors offered - maybe a light blue or magenta pink -but the hat I have holds up well to the wash and weather so I don't expect to have to replace it anytime soon.

I have difficulty with hats. Hats tend to slide up, and not stay in place. My husband and I each have one of these beanies. We are both pleased with the fit and warmth. Not for really cold windy weather (10 or below), but great for fall winter average temps.
