Very warm but fabric really didn't hold up on exterior after getting wet while walking in snow

I love these mittens- they're so soft and warm. I'm in MI and while they are very warm, I wouldn't choose these for outdoor adventures in extreme cold for long lengths of time (I ordered other Bean mittens for that). I've used these on short (1-2 hrs) winter walks so far in 30F and above, not very windy, and they keep me very cozy and comfortable. The sizing is off as they run very big (like the same hat), but I don't mind as I can put a liner inside of the mittens for extra warmth/ wind protection if needed.

Cute color & very warm. Only complaint is location & size of thumb hole ~ a little awkward & thumb hole not quite long enough

These are toasty warm, but because they are a knitted fabric, they are not water-resistant. They'd be ok for brushing off light dry snow, but not anything wetter than that. I really do like the fleece lining.

These mittens were a gift to my daughter. She was pleased with their quality and fit. Nice item!

They are more of a peachy color VS the pink color shown and called "pink" on line. They are one size fits all BUT I'd say they are HUGE. I will add the matching HAT I purchased is also HUGE. My hands measure measure 6 1/2" around the knuckles area. My hat size I would say is average also. A number of the comments by customers said the hat runs small. I do not think so. I still say both hat & mittens run HUGE. The hat falls down over my eyes without pulling it down. Returned because of color AND size.

On our second winter together, I've had to repeatedly stitch the outer layer of the mitts back together due to wear from our pup's leash on the palms & thumbs. Wish there was a "dog-walkers version" of these mitts with abrasion-resistant materials in these areas because I love how warm but breathable these mitts are. Still my go-to mitts, but don't think they'll make it to next winter.

Mittens are not as warm as I thought they would be. I can feel even the slightest breeze when I am walking. The cuff is longer than my other mittens

Warm mittens, easily dirtied and metal LLbean plate already came loose on right glove. Less than a month later. A quick stitch will solve it but shouldn't need to do this less than a month after purchase. Darker color may be nice to not show dirt. Or use as a nice pair that goes with outfits - not to be outside with kids

I loved these mittens as soon as I saw them in the store and had to get them. They're very soft and very warm, colour is lovely... I really wish I didn't have an issue with them. However, after only one wear out and about town, both of the tops of the mittens unraveled, exposing the inner layer. My fingers were still warm, it was just the knitted layer on top. Still not a great look, especially for mittens that are brand new out of the package. I'm going to see if I can't fix them by sewing the stitches together again, but of course, this shouldn't be something I'd need to do with an L.L.Bean product. I love them enough to try and salvage them.

One mitten is larger than the other. Very odd for a "one size fits all" product. The stitching at the top was different, too. I would have liked them otherwise. Sadly, I will be returning them.

I like the look of the mittens. They are warm. The fit of the thumbs is tight. Very good for walks on cold days when you don't need to use your fingers.

The one size fits all is a tad too big for me. I usually wear a medium size in gloves/mittens. They are warm in 30 degree temps, haven't yet had the opportunity to wear them in colder weather. I am concerned that the loose weave will not block the wind on windy days.

I love the feel and fit of these mittens, especially because they fit snugly around my wrists. They're ideal for moderately cold days, as long as it isn't too windy, and the soft lining makes them cozy and comfortable. The problem is, I've had two pairs develop major pulls in the exterior yarn, after only wearing them a few times. I was sure it was my fault the first time this happened, so I was extremely careful with the second pair I purchased. Unfortunately, the same thing occurred! The pull can be fairly well repaired with a crochet hook, but I'm concerned about the future of these mittens, especially when they're first washed.

The mittens are wonderful...very warm and soft. However after a few weeks of wearing them, a thread come out (I guess) at the very top and they started to unravel. I had seen this in a review but hoped it wouldn't happen to me. I will be returning them.

A wonderful warm, handsome, not too tight in the wrist mitten. That is until the string on the tip of the mitten came undone, revealing the lining, surrounded by a rim of flapping outer mitten fabric. So sad, so costly. I will try to repair but to gather all those little stitches together correctly will be complicated and will not hold up well to laundry. Mittens like this are hard to find. Where else do I go to keep my hands warm?

I loved these mittens. They are warm, cozy and really cute. Unfortunately they came apart at the top after only a few wears after getting caught on the velcro of my winter jacket. Very disappointing. They might be able to be fixed by a friend who knits, but not sure that speaks greatly to their durability, especially considering I hadn't even washed them yet.

Unfortunately, these mittens were way too big and bulky. Returned them. Not practical for dog walking, or driving. Attractive, but didn't work for me.

Bought these as a christmas present and they started to pill within the first couple of weeks. Within a few months the mittens started to fall apart at the seams. Revealing the inner makings.

LL Bean should remove these gloves. Like other customers, my mitten just unraveled at the top! My husband said, Fix it, but I have these mittens for only 1 month! And I do not even wear them every day! Very poor construction.
