I purchased a large tote with long straps and zip top with my daughter's monogram and it is a perfect weekend bag. It's so well-constructed, a perfect size and an absolute classic. It will be her go to for many years.

This bag is so well constructed of high quality materials. Our daughters had been given this LL Bean bag as a high school graduation gift and they have continued to use it for travel purposes, etc. Both their bags have withstood many years of use and continue to look and function great! We recently gave this excellent bag to a high school graduate. We had the bag monogrammed. What an outstanding graduation gift- or any occasion gift!

I bought the madras plaid in size small back in 2012. It has been my summer purse since then. I even wash it on delicate at the end of the season and it has stayed sturdy and pretty. Each year for the last few years, I have wondered if it was looking a little tired and i should replace it. And each year I find the natural sides to be too boring to buy. I even think of buying one and trying to Rit Dye it. I would love, love, love if you would bring back the madras option. And the madras dress while you are at it.

The tote is super durable and the personalization came out amazing. Love the tote.

These bags are nearly indestructible, look great and hold everything I need wherever I'm going. When I finally get back home, I just toss them in the wash if needed. Perfect.

I received the bag smelling like a musty cellar. I left it open for almost two weeks and the smell seems to have evaporated. I should not have had to do that. Otherwise, I love the bag. This bag looks nice, handles easy, nice color, great for small items.

This holds everything I like to carry daily. It has enough room to hold my traveler's notebook, ivy printer, kindle, and utility bag. I could easily hold more! The quality is great as expected. Love these tried and true totes.

Love the LL Bean Boat and Tote! I have 2 zip top and 1 open (for me, the kid, and the dog). I recommend getting the zip top even if you think you won't use it because you might and also the extra boarder of color when folded in looks nice. Had a slight issue with monogram on one and customer service was excellent. Will be buying more for gifts!
