I have always loved the LLBean boat totes but - sometimes - you just need a zipper. Also I love having my name embroidered on it.

The tote bag was exactly what I was looking for. It is of excellent quality and plenty of room for what I needed it for. I am using it as a carry on bag for my next flight. I'm so obsessed with this bag. It's sturdy and very high-quality, I know it will last me a lifetime. I use the large as my personal item on flights and it holds so much and fits perfectly under the seat in front of me. I love it so much I ordered a small to use while running to the farmers market or the library.

It's a classic for a reason. Love these for lake days. Get the zipper so nothing comes loose when under way. Also, I love a cheeky little monogram.

I bought this in a store after contemplating for over a month. It had been on my top tote bags and I needed one with a zipper; I was sick of thing falling out when I was running around. It is PERFECT! I am in love with the olive color and how the zipper piece adds more space to the bag. I would buy another in a heartbeat. I do wish the handles on the medium were like an inch longer for an over the shoulder carry with a jacket on. I would get the long handles if I got another medium.
