I have so many of these for the last 8 years. I have bought a total of 6 bags. They have been awesome: saw me through so many situations. A large range from going to grocery with heavy cans to sports equipment. Wonderful product. The first one I got had a small pocket outside of the bag which I loved. It fit perfectly my phone and slim wallet. However, the bags I've purchased since didn't have that. Did they stop making it? I was sad.

This tote was requested by my daughter-in-law for day care use. These totes are strong and attractive and will hold up well over the years.

Perfect! I am an artist who paints plein air and purchased this tote to hold my pastels and supplies when I go out in the field. Perfect size because I actually can fit everything in and still have room to spare.

The bag I purchased was an addition to my wife's first L.L.Bean tote she has had for over 10 years. She loves the quality of the material ,also the look and comfort she gets from toting it while away from home. Now with the addition of the zipper top her items are more secure.

I had trouble with the size, what I wanted and they were great with trying to make it right. Thank you LL Bean customer service, you bent over backwards!

LL Bean got it right offering the canvas Boat and Tote in a smaller size with a choice of zip top and longer handles. The longer handle length makes it super easy to carry on the shoulder. I wouldn't have gotten it with shorter handles. The zip top keeps my stuff secure. The canvas is sturdy and hefty enough so that the bag stands without slumping or slouching over and the width makes it easy to open wide to find your items quickly. Love it. The only request I would have is to offer this same size tote in more colors and patterns instead of only white canvas.

Got this gift for my wife and she loved the colors I picked out for her as well as the custom lettering. The size and the strap length is perfect. Looking forward to seeing this bag age gracefully over time.

I love this bag. In fact, it's my second one. I got the first a few years ago, and it's still going strong. I just wanted another color. I bought the medium-sized one because it has the right amount of room for what I needed it for. I can stow away books, my computer and still have room for other things. It's very well made (as I've always come to find from L.L. Bean). I had ordered the small which was smaller than I had hoped, and I exchanged it for the medium one. The customer service was great! Even though I had it monogrammed, they still exchanged the bag. I love this bag, and I LOVE L.L. Bean.

I love the boat and tote bags. I just made a big mistake and ordered the medium size instead of the small size to use as my purse. I need to reorder the small size but I want to wait for one of the 25% or 20% off sales. Love LLBean products.

LL Bean definitely takes pride in their work. I have 4 of their totes, some with zippers some without. Great quality and monogram is perfect.

I use mine every day, and the recent one I purchased was to replace the one I've been using for more than ten years. . Note: I don't have the extra large, that was for Mom and the kids. .

Hopefully will stand the beating of hauling boat gear for years to come

I have owned several of these LL Bean canvas bags over the years and they have given excellent service. The last one I bought is medium-size; the next one I buy will be a large, for groceries.

Durable, durable, durable. This is the best tote made. I have one from almost 20 years ago that I've taken to the beach multiple times, so I got this one with red trim for my Christmas toting needs. So pleased.

We use our LLBean canvas bags constantly! They hold a lot, are sturdy and are perfect for ski trips! The bags with the zippered tops are our preferred bag, as well as the long handle.

I got this monogrammed bag for my husband because I refused to be seen with him and his old, dilapidated carry-on bag. Yours is sturdy, attractive and just the right size for all his carry-on needs. Easily identifiable with the monogram, too. Great value!

I've lost count of how many bean tote bags that I now own. I keep coming back for more! This was my first XL Bag. My daughter started taking a sewing class and needed a bag that could hold her sewing machine, sewing tools, and fabric. Instead of purchasing a bag from another company that had the sole purpose of carrying a sewing machine, I chose this bag which can be reused for other things once my daughter's class is finished. This bag can hold a small sewing box, sewing machine, cords, folder, fabric, and still have room.

Great quality, perfect size and definitely suggest the long handles.
