I have had mine for over 15 years and it is still going strong. We have used it at the beach, lake, camping, boating, pool, you name it...it's washable which makes it great. We are using it this Thanksgiving to transport Thanksgiving items needed to host the dinner at a venue. Love this bag, it makes a fantastic gift!

We love this bag! We have a bunch in different sizes, and decided to get one for our dog's stuff. When we first got our puppy, we were able to use it to carry him around (the long straps helped). He was very sad when he outgrew his LLBean Tote, and still tries to get into it sometimes. We now use it for his things when we travel, or to carry his treats to his puppy classes. The zipper is smooth and keeps him from getting to the treats in the bag when we aren't looking.

Your tote bags are nice looking, strong, & sit flat alone. The medium size w/zipper is good for keeping items safely inside, the longer handle helps to carry over shoulder.

I love my bag. I can zip it closed so I know nothing will fall out. The only thing I noticed about the bag is the tension on the stitches was off on the handles. Hopefully it won't be an issue with durability.

I got a large zip top boat and tote with long straps for groceries to cut down on plastic waste. I love my bag and the monogram in the recommended color matches the straps perfectly and looks great so I love carrying it. If you're on the fence I chose this bag over other bags because (1) this bag stands up in the car and at the store while I'm bagging (2) the weight test gives me peace of mind while I'm carrying milk and glass, I've had cheaper reusable bags' straps tear out carrying milk (3) the zip top prevents anything from spilling out of the bag while I'm walking or driving. I can also report that the large fits under an airline seat.

Bought one for myself, then ordered another with monogram for a friends birthday gift. These are very sturdy bags, with a flat bottom and comes with a zipper opening, if you want. You can get it open as well. These are excellent and I love them. My friend was so please with what she said was a very "considerate" gift.

This is the best most durable useful bag around. We use it for everything and it is incredible. Everyone should get one! It would be fun if there were more colours to choose from or even seasonal options that change during each year.

I have several of these Bean totes in different sizes. The first was an extra-large tote I used to load all the supplies I need when dropping my dog off at her kennel. It was sturdy, handy to access all her supplies, and even had her name embroidered on it. These are my favorite totes for all kinds of errands in the car when loose items might tumble out of reach as I am travelling. The totes stand up well and can carry heavy items, no problem. The sizes will nest inside each other if necessary. I highly recommend them.

I manage a health department clinic. We have one of these for each of our 3 offices. They have lasted years and are used 5-7 days a week. I washed them but because of the light color I couldn't get some of the stains out. Bleach can't be used because of the colored areas. They have held up with all the use with some wear on corners and on the handles. I ordered 3 replacements with plans to order an additional three. Wish they came in solid colors!

I have a few of these bags and love them as they are very durable, the long handle length option is great as it can be carried in the shoulder. American Made is something I always look for. Only unfortunate things is LL Bean has stopped doing the customizable boat and totes. You can still monogram but you used to be able to pick the canvass color and handle color, with or without a pocket etc. to truly make it personalized. Bag itself is awesome. Hope one day the customization returns as an option.

I've owned a lifetime of LLBean Boat and Tote Bags of every kind plus given many for gifts over the years. Every one has been perfect - sturdy, attractive, well designed, well-made, and well-suited for every toting task it's given. I think I've had my original monogrammed "Bean Bag" (still in regular use) longer than my oldest child (now in her 30s!). My most recent one, handmade by Becky (as the note accompanying my order form let me know), is no exception. It's already done double duty as the boat bag assigned to our family runabout/recreational lobstering craft, holding packages of bait for traps one day and extra jackets for guest passengers the next. I purchased this tote to use a travel bag when driving to visit family. The quality looks excellent!. Made in the USA is great!

I have been using these totes for decades-school bags, beach bags, grocery bags, etc). They are fantastic and also indestructible (although the natural canvas colored bodies do get dirty). Have always used the mediums for teaching - one for each class. Now that our college is teaching remotely, I am still using the totes also one for each class. Please, please bring back: the leather handled totes, the custom tote option, and also more colors throughout the year, regardless of season.

I now have one of the Boat and Totes in every color!!! Love Love Love them!!! Sturdiest tote Ive ever owned. They just keep going forever and the more you use them the better they look!!!

The longer handle made it really comfortable to carry the bag on the shoulder; it's a must have. My daughter enjoys traveling with it as her carry-on personal item. The top zipper keeps her things in securely.

I love this thing. I consider it an essential item in my home--I use it for groceries, dry cleaning, dog toys, beach stuff, gym stuff...honestly it is amazing and everyone should own one, or two. ;)

Love the quality and size. Looks classy. I got the small size to use as a summer purse. Made well and will last a long time. Just wish it had a small compartment.

Since the pandemic I wanted a purse to suit my needs (sanitary etc.). I have many handbags. This tote has made my shopping etc. easier.

I have several of these totes. Not too big, not too small perfect for everyday use, keeps everything I need neat and orderly so I can get to it when I need it. Most useful when traveling. It stands upright on it's own, doesn't fall over particularly with stuff inside. Great for carrying my book and small purse to the pool. Would be nice if they could put a small pocket on the side for my cell phone but the phone doesn't get lost when placed inside.

Great bag, great quality. Has already been used many times in a month for beach gear and traveling. My only wish is that it had a few pockets. I've found myself digging around for things like my phone or keys which fell to the bottom. I'm sure this bag will last forever!
