I have purchased several of these bags over the years. I use them when I am traveling. It is large enough to care my personal items along with any purchases I make while on vacation. The zippered top keeps my items secure. Before I leave on my trip, I spray my bag with waterproofing. That makes it very easy to wipe clean, if it gets dirty. I bought a large bag for my daughter. She uses hers to store the craft items she is working on.

I buy this as gifts ( think newborn, hs graduation, college) It is sturdy, big, functional.

This bag was one of many I've purchased as baby gifts! I pick a nice colored bag with an original font and font color. Every parent who has received them has loved them. Great for day trips, to see grandparents, or a longer trip. I get the totes that have zippered tops.

This was just the size tote I was looking for, and the zippered top made it even better. Now I could tuck this one inside the large (matching) tote and be prepared for anything! It is also easy to take out of the large tote when I'm going shopping, but I love the big tote for picking up the mail - what a perfectly matched set!

This is our 4th one. This is the largest one we have ordered. They are very versatile and rugged. Clean up easily and always look nice. Great quality all around.

LL Bean makes the most well made, durable, utilitarian, smart looking tote on the market. I would highly recommend that LL Bean change the name from "boat tote" to "universal tote". This name would suit it better because it can be used as a book bag for school, a purse, additional storage, groceries, overnight bag, tools, gardening, and finally as a boat tote. Oh, it makes a perfect hostess gift! Fill and give.

Every new baby in our family gets one of these bags, extra large, long handle with the zipper. (The new moms and/or dads are pretty excited too!) They are the best travel bags. Whether it's packing up for a trip to the beach or to camp, a weekend away or even just lugging groceries, these tote bags are convenient, extremely durable and you can fit a ton in them. Plus they're really heavy duty, waterproof and last forever (my tote is 11 years old and not a tear or busted seam and it's used weekly hauling stuff to camp). I only wish they still came in more color combinations, for instance mine is red with black handles and a front pocket. Now they're the basic off white canvas with limited handle colors and no front pocket. They should bring back those options for this particular bag. But aside from that I'd definitely recommend this tote 100%!

I just received my newest large, zip-top with long handles tote. I am not a big person - just over 5 feet and just under 100 pounds. I use this as my second carry-on bag when traveling. A friend has the XL and also takes it as a carry-on. All the odds and ends get put in this bag. It is flexible, and will squish enough under the seat in front of you on the plane. The top lies flat against the inside of the bag when unzipped and adds a nice pop of color. I had this bag monogrammed and am very pleased with the embroidery (and I'm picky!). My husband will carry this bag. We plan to break it in with a trip out west later this spring.

New to the longer handle but not my first zippered tote - and decidedly not my last! Perfect for toting multiple items I need to keep handy when traveling.

This is my "go to" gift for new parents. I have the baby's name embroidered on it and the long shoulder straps and zip top allow for everything to fit for a trip to the pediatrician or a flight to Grandma's house. I purchased this bag as a gift for my adult son and had it monogrammed with his last name. I know he will be able to use it in a miriad of ways...car tote, beach, workout, travel, etc. It is SO roomy and handsome with the monogram as well. My daughter received as similar one from LLBean as a HS graduation gift in 2006 and it is still going strong. LL Bean makes products to last!

This bag is easily one of my favorite purchases. I have 3 now and will definitely buy more as gifts and for any reason I can find to have another. They are of the very highest quality. Made with care and attention to detail. We have ours personalized with our last name on them, which makes them easy to spot in crowded kids areas and sporting events.

The tote bag is better than I had expected, and that's saying a lot. It is sturdy and roomy and has a nice, clean design. The top opens completely, which is a big plus. The zipper works perfectly. I couldn't be more pleased and will probably buy another when my usual shopping totes finally fail--as they all do. I'm certain that will be a long time from now for this one.

This bag can fit A LOT! Great for a beach bag or if you're transporting misc things. It's very durable and can handle a lot of weight. This would be a great gift for any parent or someone who has their own business, especially since you can monogram it! :)

It carries all my items safely because of zipper. It is easy to carry due to long handles and very secure due to quality of material and stitching.

I have several of these bags over 20 years old. I just bought two more extra large zip top bags for my grandchildren' s gear to be staged and hauled back and forth to day care. I bought one long handle and one short handle bag for ease of carry when one parent is carrying both bags. The bags and the monogramming were just beautiful. They arrived before they were promised. I bet these two babies will take these bags with them to college. The bags are very sturdy and large enough so that my grandson was standing in his dropping toys into it.

Bought it primarily for grocery shopping, but I can see it's gonna be used for other apps.We have one that is at least 25years old. That one has been around the block a few times and is always the last thing that is thrown in the car as a catch all on trips(stuff) kids, now grand kids.I think the longer one is will also be a family heirloom as well They just don't wear.out.If we had a dozen they would all be used for something Honestly they will last a lifetime

This totes is large, enough for a weekend trip, durable washable, got each of my kids ones for days at the beach. Got zipper top so nothing falls out.
