Ordered two of the medium totes with blue monograms for my small grandkids to go back and forth on weekends. Adorable and practical. Their parents loved them! The size is just right- not too big, and the zipper closure is a plus....

I have circa 7 LL Bean boat and tote bags in various sizes, some zip some open; the oldest is over 40 years old (and looks it), the newest about 15. My sailor parents used them as boat totes, and I found them also useful as school bags from grade school through university. When new the canvas is very stiff, they endure rough use, multiple washings and dryings which is the whole point, and are the most counterfeited canvas tote out there. If looking for a soft option, go elsewhere. If you want a durable icon that lives up to to its rep, look no further.

The boat tote is awesome. Very sturdy. Will last a long time. Had mine monogrammed which turned out great.

I purchased a large regular handle tote as a Christmas present for my daughter, so she would stop stealing my tote. She utilized it as her carry on during a trip to London in 2020. She reported during her stay in London that it was her multi-purpose bag : groceries, laundry, and even tennis matches. She only wished to have longer straps to allow for shoulder carry. Her new bag, along with the regular handled bag, made its maiden voyage to London this August. She was thrilled with its performance. What a great, useful product!

I ordered the black trim with initials and long handles, it is perfect for the beach, I pack everything I need and then some! I love the fact that it has a zipper, so that no sand can get in the bag, I am glad that I ordered it,

Loved it. It's attractive, sturdy, easy to carry, easy to find my things in the bag. I like a bag that can stand up on its own and not constantly fall over, spilling its contents. This is that bag!

I'm amazed by the amount of stuff of all different sizes that will fit in these totes, recommend the zippered totes, do a lot of camping and traveling they are perfect. Make great gifts as well.

I cant wait to use this bag for my son! I purchased a large to use for when we go to the hospital to have him and for all future trips! I have also purchased a medium to use everyday!

I like how sturdy it stands also love the clean look. The color I ordered is just what I expected in color.

I am extremely happy with my purchase. I bought the small and medium zip-top bags. The material is thick and stiff so that the bags retain their structure when not in use. The workmanship is excellent. The sizes are perfect for my use. The zipper flap is made such that you can tuck it, and it looks like the interior is lined with a band of matching-color material. Very attractive and fun option. I'm glad different length handles are offered. I will be buying other colors and sizes, but wish additional colors were available.

This is my second extra large, zip top tote with long handles. Sturdy, roomy, easy to carry - it's just great. There are no better totes of any size than LL Bean totes!!

My son's school is only allowing a single pocket bag. This is what he will be able to use to transport his Chromebook, his notebooks, and his text books to and from school. This bag is spacious with durable construction. We have put weight in it to see how it would be, and it held up fantastic. My son and I were impressed with the quality of the bag and expect it to last through his final two years of high school and beyond.

My friends' kids are now having babies. My daughter, who recently had a baby, told me about one of the best gifts she received - an L.L.Bean zippered "Boat and Tote" bag. It was filled with small items (books, bibs, teething items, etc.). I've waited 'til 2 friends' grandchildren were born and given the parents personalized (initials) bags when the babies' names were announced. They loved them! They found them extremely practical and tasteful.

The tote bags have always been a favorite. I got this one with a zipper to use for the beach. Never can go wrong with an LL Bean tote bag!

A classic because of its utility, durability and styling. Can't go wrong here. Add a monogram and Bam! You, the Man!

Got this to be our go-to beach bag. Fits a couple towels, books, snacks great. Sturdy and easy to wipe sand off the bottom. Zip top was also useful in packing for our trip - we were able to fit a lot of things inside.

I had a medium tote years ago for grocery shopping so realized several larger ones would be perfect for vacation with daughter and granddaughter. We spent a week in Southern California and used it for snacks and sand castle building shovels, sieves and buckets : ) They are sturdy and well made. Love them and will continue to buy from LL Bean quality products.

Bought two of the small zippered totes and had them embroidered with my granddaughters' names. Well crafted and just right for packing their favorite toys and snacks.

Am using bags I purchased in the 1970s. Many different sizes, all good Love the lightweight ones for overnight bag Missed out on the minis last fall, have two from years ago. Let me know if they will be available soon

A staple for me for pool days, weekend trips, picnics, anything!

I use this tote to carry 18 clip boards ,3 ring binder and assorted papers. It is heavy to carry based on what I put in it but it holds it all and I don't need to carry 2 separate bags. Can't beat the quality.

It has a zipper if I need to secure everything. It is sturdy. It is nice looking. It is a great bag for so many uses!

This is my sixth purchase of the Boat and Tote over the past ten years. I have them for my business, each of my children now for my own personal use.. As well made as everr, although I wish LL Bean would once again offer the customizing option.
