Thick canvas, stiff, and roomy. Long handles are great for slinging onto the shoulder to carry.

I bought the large tote to have for a weekend trip or overnight stay and it's perfect. Plenty of room and I'm glad I decided to get the zip top. My only wish is that it had a key clip on the inside. Great bag either way!
