Love the look and feel of this sweater. Only problem was a separation under the left arm caused by missed stitching.

This sweater is nice and well made. The only slight criticism is the neck closure is a little low, otherwise perfect

Loved the color so I ordered it for Christmas, it was the perfect shade of red. The fit was true to size and it was very warm. My son loved it. Washed well with dark colors. I didn't put it through the dryer. It was pricey so that's why I gave it four stars

med. fits well, I'm 5'6 ' 140 lb as always sleeves are long cuff folds. works well under the North Face jacket.this is my first Chinese wool sweater. I bought it to replace my 30yr old US Navy issue sweaters,we will see how it holds up. everyone loves the color.

This is a very warm sweater, maybe too warm for North Carolina. I love the look and feel of the sweater especially with jeans. I am concerned that it may have a problem with pilling. Will keep and eye on this.

Good quality sweater. I bought a 2XL Tall and it is not as large, nor are the sleeves as long as other 2XL Tall Bean sweaters. Still ok, but sized a little smaller. The wool is slightly less scratchy than that in the "classic ragg wool" sweater.

I bought this sweater in December and it's definitely made with LL Bean quality, but the fit is frumpy. The shoulder seems are too low and it's baggy in the wrong areas.

While i like the look, this sweater is really baggy on my normal athletic body. It's too big in the stomach and arms. I ordered about 5 items from L.L. Bean and they are basically all made for heavy set people. Even the slim fit clothes are way bigger.

I bought a large based on the sizing chart and my prior experience with items purchased. Color and sizing in general are good, but the neck is a challenge. If I button one or two of the buttons then the sweater is tight, stretching in the chest. If I leave it unbuttoned, then the neck totally loses its shape. I wish it was just a plain v-neck!!

I bought a 3XL, which was more like a 2XL. Liked it, but it didn't fit properly. Returned it.

The cuffs on the sleeves are for someone with really big wrists.

This is a nice sweater, but we found it runs much smaller than the crew neck versions we had purchased, so it had to be returned.

This is a good looking sweater. Im 6' 190 lbs. the large was a good length but was too baggy all around. Thats why I returned it. It is a little scratchy. I could have lived with it if the fit was better. Not interested in trying a medium. Made in china.

I like it. Either buttons are too big or button hole it too small.

Nice material, but difficult sizing. I am 6ft, 210 lbs, with a 47 inch chest and slightly athletic build. I purchase the XL. It fit me perfect in the chest, but way more room than I needed in the waist.

Over the years, L.L. Bean quality has gone downhill, way downhill, and this item is no exception. These Ragg Wool Sweaters used to be much heavier, and thicker. I've owned several over the years. But what do I know? I'm just a chump consumer.

The "forest green" is quite muted, compared to the previous editions of this item I have purchased for the last twenty years.

A lambs wool sweater that was scratchy, itchy. Stay away from this one. Way overpriced for the quality although the fit was right on the money. Ok I returned same day I took delivery.

Sleeves are a little short. About two inches shorter than other large tall items I have purchased from L.L. Bean. Hopefully they will stretch a bit. Body is good length, and sweater is otherwise great.

A quality sweater that was marked wrong on the sweater tag for size. I ordered a Tall XL and although it is tagged TXL it is actually a TXXL no question about it. I rarely, if ever, return items. I have no time to do this nor do I want to do it. I will donate the item to charity.I would have given it 4 stars if size was correct.

I have had this sweater for two years now. It's warm and so far no excessive wear but the overall fit is poor. The shoulders and sleeves are fine, but the sweater just hangs off me. Not gathered at all in the waist. It fits like a fat guy was wearing it for a year before you got it. I'm not slim by anyone's estimation, but the sweater's midsection is just huge. Something to consider when ordering.

Got the item in Forest Shade. It's a beautiful , soft forest green on the website. In real life, it's gray. Just gray. A big part of my desire for this item was the lovely color. But it's just a boring gray sweater that is totally forgettable.

I purchased this sweater after delaying years hoping that at some point in time L.L. Bean would bring back the Raggwool Shaw Collar. I still own one that I purchased in the 1980's and that is still my favorite all-time sweater. I would easily give you 5 Stars if you would bring back the shaw collar.

Bean's Classic Raggwool Henley Sweater is not a heavy weight sweater for cold, snowy Northern Climates, but is more suited for late Spring and early Autumn.
