Excellent, keeps you warm when the winds of fall are blowing. So comfortable you won't want to take it off when you come indoors!

Very pretty color. It does seem a little big. I bought a zip-up cardigan a year ago, also a Tall XL, as is this, but this ran a little bigger. Also, the fabric was a bit thinner than I would have liked.

I received this sweater two years ago as a Christmas gift and it now sits as my #2 go-to once the air turns crisp in the Midwest. Overall, this and the new All Seasons Wool crewneck are absolute staples of my fall/winter wardrobe now! I've taken one star off my rating not for anything other than my belief that the sleeve cuffs should be shrunken. I'm an off the shelf size Large, regardless of brand, but have thinner arms and wrists. Pulling the sleeves up, on this and the All Seasons crewneck sweater, results in the cuffs being stretched to the point of falling back down my arm. Because of the wool, I try to get a few wears out of these sweaters before using Dryel at home for a dry cleaning method, but the cuffs remain an issue.

I have purchased several wool sweaters from LL Bean over the years. I still have the 1st one which is over 15 years old and still looks great. The only comment on the 2 new sweaters would be they seem thinner, and the knit is not as tight. Still a good product

Classic, good sizing, warm, durable. Unfortunately, it is pilling already, but I guess I expected that.

Nice men's sweater. There's no "cinching" with the bottom band to make it snug around the hips, which would improve the appearance but otherwise, my husband loves it.

I liked the product but my size falls in between a large and extra large, I am not happy with the fit.

Great looking sweater, true to size. Husband thought wool was slightly scratchy, but overall, a very nice-looking sweater. The henley style is a nice look.

Excellent quality, very comfy and warm. He didn't like it as well as the Commando that I had gotten him, but that's just about style.

Color was a bit off, not the deep forest green that the website depicts. More of a teal. Still a great sweater, fits great and is very warm. Collar gets a little wonky when unbuttoned. The under-flap will stick out. Buttons attachment seems a little weak, makes me nervous they might come off easily.

Very nice sweater. I bought this for my husband and he loved it. It did shrink a little after washing with cold water and laying flat to dry. Wish I had bought one size up. We will just dry clean in the future.

This was a gift for my husband. He likes the sweater, so that's a positive. I hope the sweater wears better than some of the items I've purchased in the past year ~ (traditional oxford shirt - frayed cuffs after less than a year of limited wear, far lighter fabric that in the past - - cashmere-cotton sweater that pilled after being worn a few times - - wicked good flannel shirts that are far less substantial than ones from several years ago). Quality seems to be declining, but the prices keep rising.

Size M for 5'11'' 170 lbs. Material is a bit too rough for the skin and therefore Iong-sleeve undershirt or dress shirt is needed. There's a price inconsistency ($79 on price tag vs. $89 on website) and customer service explained there was a price change and the tags weren't updated, and refunded the difference. Well maybe adding a disclaimer preemptively on the website would help. Overall good enough for something that is regular in the closet. Been wondering why there isn't a store in the West. It does get cold here and we love outdoors too.

Great sweater. Only reason I give a four star is for the outrageously high price. It it wasn't a Christmas gift I would not have gotten it. Would be much more LLBean products if they weren't way more expensive than any competitor.

The knit is tight and stout, leading to a fairly heavy/bulky sweater. I see it more as an item of outerwear or a mid layer under a parka than as something I'm likely to wear indoors. The fit was perfect for me since my arms are relatively short, but I can the sleeves being perhaps a bit too short for you long-armed folks. Frequently I have to roll up the cuffs, but I did not with this sweater. It's comfortable, but probably a bit scratchy to wear against bare skin. Doesn't bother me much, but if you're sensitive to such things you might want to make sure you're wearing a long-sleeve base layer under it.
