A very good looking sweater. Dress up with slacks, dress down with jeans. Works for all cold weather wear.

I have been buying nothing but cotton sweaters for years because they are more comfortable. I wanted a warm sweater for certain occasions and read that wool is warmer. I bought this one, I believe it is lambs wool and it is warmer, a lot warmer and not as scartchy as I expected. Good quality, fit properly, not too bulky, i.e. a good sweater.

I totally love this shirt. I bought it for my trip to NYC and Washington DC. It is not a style I would typically buy. I am 70 years old and I have NEVER had a shirt like this. It is just fantastic. It fits well, wears well and i feel like a million bucks when I wear. Definitely happy I made the purchase.

I ordered this for my daughter's boyfriend. The quality is just what I expected from LL Bean. Thick, luxurious. I can't wait for him to open it!!

I'm 6'4" and the tall large fits perfectly. This is my favorite sweater to wear with jeans when the temperature starts to drop. When I am in Maine, this sweater with a vest is perfect for outside work down to the mid 30s.

Fits well, comfortable, warm--overall, a great buy at its price.

Bought this a month ago, it has been a great transition layer as I wasn't ready to commit to breaking out the winter coat. I'll probably keep it as my coat until the snow flys!

We gave one of these Ragg Wool Sweaters to our son for Christmas at his request. He already has 2 LL Bean Ragg sweaters and he loves them!

This is an excellent quality nicely thick LL Bean ragg wool sweater. I am 5'10 145 lb and I chose an M. The size is accurate. But I actually returned it because the leather buttons are not all that functional and hang too loosely (one came off). I would love a v-neck or maybe even a shawl-neck version of this sweater but no buttons. Maybe next year...

My Daughter's partner specifically requested this sweater in blue for Christmas as he had been eyeing it for awhile. And he is absolutely loving it! My daughter says it is his "go to" sweater for most winter days now. They live in rural Northern Vermont so they know COLD!

I gave it 5 stars because they won't let me give it 6. I own 3 of these now and will eventually own every color. They are warm, comfortable, stylish and look great with either jeans or business casual. They also wear well and don't lose their shape. Well worth the price. I get many compliments in the office when I wear this sweater.

nice and heavy. you may not need a tall, I am 6'3" and a regular probably would have been fine. I noticed the slots for the buttons are pretty small. rather than risk pulling them off, it will go unbuttoned. hope that this passes with the fashionistas!

I was disappointed when earlier this year I couldn't find this sweater on the web site (or anywhere). My previous LL Bean rag wool sweater was wearing out (hole in the elbows) after many many years. Ordered the sweater and it was exactly what I expected. Fits well, nice collar and right color. As good or better that my previous sweater (not a common occurrence) Highly recommend.

This sweater goes well with jeans or dress pants. It's warm and stylish. I recommend it. The size is about what you would expect.
