Just what I was looking for to wear primarily at home when I want more warmth, even over a flannel shirt. Cozy warm and comfortable.

I bought this for my sweetheart for Christmas. He said the sweater is very soft & very,very warm. I bought the red which is a nice color. One of the buttons was loose but I can sew it on. Please add more tall size sweaters!

This sweater will definitely keep you warm. Fits well, although the neck comes up a bit higher than I'd like and noticeably rubs against my neck.

This sweater is made very well...fits great, fair price, good color selection and holds true to LL BEAN Quality standards...

I wanted to order something on Cyber Monday and found this sweater. I thought it looked nice but I wasn't too sure about the wool. It was a little itchy for the first 5 mins or so of wearing it but after that I didn't even notice it. It's very warm and comfortable and I feel it's worth it. Also, I highly recommend getting it in TALL if you like longer shirts, hoodies, etc. Would recommend!

I now own three of these Henley sweaters. Lost one last winter so had to replace this year. Best I've ever owned and wear at work daily through the winter. Great price too!

I liked my first L.L. Bean wool Henley sweater so much that I purchased 2 more! This is a high quality thick sweater while at the same time being light and super soft. Even though it's wool (and super warm I might add) it doesn't cause me to itch in the slightest, as I had expected it might. In fact, it's probably the most comfortable sweater I have ever worn! The sweater has a very classy look, so much that I'm comfortable wearing it to the office. I am 5'11 and 185 lbs and ordered a Large Tall because I'm a bit averse to short sleeves and torsos. It fits me just the way I like! Thanks L.L. Bean - great as always :-)

Some wool sweaters are light and can go under a sports jacket, others are quite thick and heavy and can stand by themselves on a brisk day. This one seems to be in the middle, a very comfortable and warm Henley sweater that stands very well by itself. Roomy, well made, comfortable and especially warm. The Henley collar does not rub one's neck and the quality of the wool appears quite good. I would strongly recommend this sweater, great buy.

The LLB ragg wool sweaters are my cold/crisp day go-tos. I have a few in crew and 2 button styles, and wear them so they match, though all go perfectly with a pair of jeans or khakis. I have had two originals for many years and see no reason to replace them. They still have a good bit o' life in them.

I have got a lot of compliments on this sweater and I like it very much.

I have this and the Water Fowl sweater and I will say I do wear this more often. the fit is great and wears well, I would buy this again

My previous LL Bean Ragg Wool Sweater lasted 30 years and was always a favorite. Love the new one.

This sweater is very nice and warm! The size of XL is as stated.

I love it; I got a lot of compliments when I first wore it into the office; it goes well over my dress shirts, ie the open neck frames the tie nicely. It's so comfortable I'm wearing it all the time; I'll probably wear it out by next year so I'll order another then ...

This is an ideal winter wool sweater. The material is thick enough to be toasty warm but isn't cumbersome. In my Pacific Northwest climate (30-40F, mild wind, rain), I can wear a tee shirt and this on top and be set. A light rain jacket is enough on top - no need for extra layers. At home, I pull this sweater on for lounging regularly with my only complaint being that I get too hot sometimes. Just an outstanding product overall that I hope will last for many years.

Nice and warm and comfortable since the neck is open. Not sure of the size difference between the large and medium as they both seem to be the same.
