Comfortable, thankful for velcro and wide sizes. Lighter weight than the waterproof Merrells of the same size. Got a 13.5W for my son with "wide" (tall) feet and sized up a size so they'll fit longer. He wears these for kindergarten gym class. They are well built--heavier than a tennis shoe but they have a good sole and seem very durable. The kind of shoe that will be passed down to siblings and cousins not thrown in the trash.

My son has plenty of room yet they are secure on his feet. I always buy him Merrells in wide and will continue in the future.

Awesome shoes. My son is very hard on his shoes and these took the beating he gave them. He said after a year they are still comfortable.

My grandson likes this shoe for day hiking on trails vs. wearing hiking boots. Great traction and he's comfortable in them all day long.

These are working well for my son. We bought them in Wide after struggling with the last couple attempts at getting him shoes he could get on easily himself and wide was what he needed.

I've purchased these shoes for my son in progressive sizes since he was a toddler. They hold up well enough to be passed to another child and he's never said they were uncomfortable.

Kids hiking shoes for women: I have trouble finding hiking shoes that fit but the kids sizes fit great. They out last any other brand and look great!

I was looking for shoes for my 5 year old to not slip at school, resistant to wear and tear, winter shoes. Regular tenni shoes weren't doing it. These shoes are great! I will definitely buy again!

My kids have been wearing these shoes for over two years. They are great for walking, hiking and pretty much everything in-between. The kids say they are comfortable and have never had any complains. After 2 years of frequent wear, the shoes are still in great condition.
