I've been using my metro backpack instead of a purse for about a month and feel like it's better for my body instead of carrying the weight of a purse on one shoulder. I wish it was a bit larger which is why I rated it a 4 instead of a 5. On the other hand, it's gotten me to pair down the weight I carry daily without all the unnecessary items I was carrying in my purse so that's a plus for it's size. I also like the look also and it seems well made as would be expected from a Baggallini.

Love the design, the fabric and pattern, and the RFID bag. They only down side is that the straps are way too long.

I loved everything about this metro backpack except it was a little small for me. However, I would have grabbed it up if it had been just a little bit bigger. I loved the color and the design!

Disappointed that the color was not as it appeared or represented. Quality is fine. Will probably return :(

I love a lot about this bag, it seemed to be just what I was looking for but I had to return it as the one I purchased at a travel store in Minneapolis didn't work as a back back. I'm 5'5" and the straps on mine were too short to use as a backpack. It would have been fine for my 9 year old granddaughter. Not sure how other reviewers found their straps to be too long. Store manager even helped me make all the possible adjustments. When worn as a sling bag one problem is determined by which shoulder you place the bag over. When placing over one of your shoulders the zipper pouches on the side that hold your wallet open to the ground so stuff falls out onto the ground. Placing it over the other shoulder will remedy the situation but that isn't the way that I wanted to wear it because of hand dominance.

The Metro backpack is the ideal light weight bag for everyday use. I love the key holder in an exterior pocket and the sleek styling of this backpack. It could be just a little bit bigger in order to comfortably hold the essential items (wallet, epi-pens, inhaler, sunglasses, phone & tissues) and the exterior zipper pocket openings could be just a little longer in order to access contents more easily. Since I've only used the bag for 2 weeks I do not feel I can give a durability rating at this time.

Strap could be longer and not as wide and bag could be bigger. But overall I liked the bag. I did not need to purchase an extra wallet as the attached pouch worked well and felt secure. I could move the pouch and attach to my larger backpack when needed.

I just for the champagne color, very pretty but gee, the straps even when as short as possible the bag still hangs a little low on the back, and when used as a sling with the straps zipped and long as possible well the sling doesn't quite lay right across the chest. I debated whether to send it back but decided to keep it and see if i can get used to it. it is very cute otherwise, but baggalini needs to work on making the straps more adjustable both ways.

Bought this on Gloria's suggestion. I love it whether I carry it over my shoulder or on my back. It's perfect for travel !

I purchased a similar bag years ago and loved it so much that the zipper wore out. So when this one became available I was very excited. However, the usable space seem smaller, especially the hidden pouch in the back. Also, the material seems cheaper. I like the bag's layout and will enjoy using it, but am disappointed with the changes.

There's so much I like about this backpack. But as others have noted, the straps are just too long and instead of resting against my upper back, the bag hangs at my lower back, with the bottom below my waist. I've tried to see if there's any way to make the straps even shorter than the adjustable part will go, but if there is I can't figure it out. I'm tempted to keep it but I have a feeling I'll constantly be grabbing the straps in the front and pulling the bag up higher, which defeats the hands free purpose. Please, Baggallini, make the straps more adjustable -- that would be way more useful than convertible straps.

Great bag. I have to get use to switching between a shoulder bag and backpack. The quality is awesome. I wish the external pockets (front and back) are a little slim.

First saw your products while on a trip to Kodiak Island, Alaska in a TrueHardware Store and loved the fabric. When we returned home I went on line to find our web site. I have been looking for a backpack with style that was light and yours looked like what I wanted. I ordered the product and have found it to be what I have been looking for. Perfect for all occasions and purposes. I carry very little most of the time and this is perfect and then when I travel and have to carry more this also serves the purose.

I live in a downtown and walk everywhere including to the grocery store. A backpack like bag is much easier on the shoulders than a regular purse when walking a lot. The one change I would make is to make it just a tad larger so it was easier to get iPad in and out.

I recently purchased my 2nd Baggallini in this style. My old one is still in perfect condition and it has been with me through many travels abroad. I now use it as my bag to take to the gym. I wanted a different color for summer, but somehow I ended up with black which is okay since I often wear black and white. I love my new Baggallini, BUT they cut corners that displease me. First, although the magnet that secures the top leather flap works, it is not as strong as it was before. Second, with a one-handed reach to open it (which is one of its super advantages as things do not fall out), the inner lining now often gets caught in the zipper. So far, I've been able to get it out without tearing the fabric lining, but it is annoying when I am in a hurry. Third, the straps used to be all leather, all the way to the back metal buckles, and now some fabric has replaced the part of the leather in the newer creation. Would still recommend this perfect sized bag, but please Baggallini when you've got something perfect, don't cut corners! Go back to the original and I will buy again.

Review for Zappos VIP Points(What's this?)
I am petite and the fit is perfect for my frame. I bought this because I wanted a convertible backback/shoulder bag for travel and I have other Baggalini bags that I love. This bag is too small for travel, but works for everyday use, so I kept it. My 9" tablet fits in the bag, but it's too small for a water bottle plus other daily necessities. Still searching for the perfect travel bag!

This bag is really only commfortable to be used as a backpack. When the straps are zipped together is is not usable as a shoulder or cross body bag. I am short so I was disappointed. Will be returning this bag.

I bought this to replace my very well used Urban backpack. The redesigned interior is wonderful. However, the shortened height of the bag and the webbing on the lower half of the straps are disappointing. Is this a cost cutting maneuver? Also, the magnetic clasp at the top is not effective. I'm considering cutting it off entirely. Not impressed.

I was really hoping this bag would work for me. I purchased this bag because it was a good size and I liked the ability to move back and forth between a sling and backpack. Unfortunately, the straps aren't long enough to truly be a sling. It cuts straight across the top of my chest towards my neck. I had to add a metal ring to the bag to elongate the straps so it would fit more comfortably. I am an average size woman so I was surprised when the bag didn't fit the way I expected. The bag fits great as a backpack, but if you are looking for a sling, I am not sure I would recommend this one.

To small and I don't care for the material. Not enough pockets either.

I bought this thinking I would love the backpack style especially the sling style where straps are zipped. It ends up at my throat and upper chest even at the longest position. The pockets are great but I would have bought a cross body if I'd known how this fits.
