I usually wait for sales on Smartwool gear, but when they go on sale, I usually try to stock up. I've used some of their thicker weight base layers in extremely cold and austere conditions and they really do hold up well, keep you warm, and resist body odors. Synthetic fabrics seem to multiply body odor, but from some black magic, these base layer shirts can really hold back scents even if you're active and aren't able to shower often. These lighter weights are really nice and a pleasure to wear around the house with a sweater. I can't recommend these shirts enough. #sweepstakes

My husband loved the 2 crew necks I bought him but both shrunk even though I washed them on cool and air dried them.

Bought it for my son who loves the Merino wool. It fits well, keeps him warm, its very easy to wash and dry. Couldn't be happier with the product. And it looks great too!

I returned this without wearing because the material was more thin than even a basic undershirt. Almost see through thin. There's no way this was going to keep me warm.

Nice quality. Washed/dried well. Ordered in the same size as my husband's daily one-pocket t-shirt and it has the perfect fit for a base layer. Slim fit but not snug.

Great base layer for winter and cool spring mornings. Furs true to size. Only wish us if raglan sleeves as they are all around more comfortable especially under sweaters or tops.

Great for everyday wear in Colder Weather

My goal was to buy a light, warm, stylish base layer shirt for the winter. This garment is all of that- and the quality of its construction makes me feel confident that it is going to last quite a few winters.

Bought both top and bottoms for my son who works outside in Chicago. He said this set really made a difference for him. Plus they weren't scratchy/itchy but soft and comfortable.

I bought this long sleeve top for my husband. He has a similar Smart Wool long sleeve tops and wears it all the time. I wanted to add this one to his existing wardrobe. What he likes about this shirt is that it's warm but not bulky. We live in the south and a heavy sweater isn't needed very often.

Warm and comfortable merino wool. I get a lot of compliments on these. I have 5 of these so far and want 2 more so I can wear one and day!
