We live in the mountains--Lake Tahoe, CA--where the evenings get cold even in the summer. Depending on the season, I wear these either as the primary garment or under layers.

Perfect for the upcoming damp chilly wet Seattle winter. Wool breathes. Great garment.

I purchased the MEN'S CLASSIC ALL-SEASON MERINO BASE LAYER LONG SLEEVE in the Natural (ivory) color because its perfect for warm spring mornings and cool summer mornings when out for a run. Plus being wool, (88% Merino Wool, 12% Nylon) it naturally wicks moisture and stays odor free. Smart Wool did us all a favor by making a light color that reflects the hot sun. This long sleeve light weight base layer is a nice complement to the Shortsleeve one (also in Natural color)

This is my go to on any day that is going to be in the 60s or lower. I like that I can roll up the sleeves if needed, but I'm protected from the sun. This has worked as a great base layer in active times in the winter too, with just a puffy over it. I even bought a beige one to have on summer days to stay out of the sun. As with my other Smartwool, the longevity is not as long as others, but the quality is great.

great merino wool layer, whether your preferred trail is Pacific Crest, Appalachian, or just the Living Room to Kitchen. i own 2 of these, as well as 2 quarter zips and 2 short sleeve tees. i do think the little bit of nylon (12%) detracts from the merino wool advantages, but only a few points, and the added durability makes up for it. i look forward to testing this in all kinds of weather in the near future. a great layer for the PNW climate... supposed to hit 95* this weekend, but it rained at 50* last week. go figure! for size reference, i'm 6'3", 190 lbs, and the Large fits very well. it's not skin-tight, nor is it boxy -- just a good slim fit, without being too clingy or constricting. i'd appreciate another inch or two in the length, but it's surprisingly good as-is... especially the sleeves! they're usually too short for me on most shirts, but they're almost "too long" on this one. all in all, a good piece of cloth, especially if you can find it on a decent sale. great for everyday wear, versatile enough to cover a wide range of uses. #sweepstakes

I got this as a present for my son who loves skiing. I thought it was a little pricy but that's what he asked for. He is very happy with it. He thinks the quality is very good and the size was perfect. I guess the measurement chart worked just good. The purchase and shipping were easy and it arrived really soon. Overall its a good product and it was a good experience.

Fits well but the material isn't great. Feels different from the older Smartwool products, scratchier and more synthetic. Reduced quality? Maybe.

Purchased this for my husband for the colder months in Arizona. The fit is perfect and it is a nice, light weight to wear under a hoodie or other jacket. He mainly wanted it for early morning golfing weather.

I used this and the matching bottom for skiing in 20-30 degree weather. I was the right temp throughout the day with a fleece midlayer on top and a shell jacket. Didn't sweat with this base layer compared to the clammy feeling of a polyester or synthetic base layer. I would purchase again.

Stellar fit - finally, a medium with sleeves long enough for someone over 6" tall. Not all of us weigh 200+ pounds! Light weight, comfy, and have been happy with it snowboarding and snowshoe running.

This long sleeve tee shirt is one of my favorite undershirts to wear during cool/cold days when wearing long sleeve shirts. I also wear it alone when lounging around the house. The fit is great and the wool just feels great against my skin. I'm 5'11" and 200 lbs. I wish they were cheaper as I'd own more of them. I can wear this shirt 3-4 times before washing as it just doesn't stink. After each use I'll turn it inside out & hang in a well ventilated area and the next time I need it I have fresh new undershirt. It's amazing! Catch them on sale and you won't regret it!

my go to baselayer, found it so much better than the other brands that I tried. They usually smell bad after wearing them all day, this one doesn't.

Couldn't find a better base layer. Merino wool is warm, drys quickly, and doesn't stink. And smartwool nailed it with these. This is way comfier, warmer, and (I think) more sustainable over all the other big brands doing polyester base layers.

I really enjoy the flexibility of this shirt. It's nice as a base layer but also looks great to wear on it's own with a pair of jeans or chinos. Look, fit, and feel are top notch.

Very comfortable. Was worried that it shrunk when dried on low, but it was just wrinkly. When hung dry, it comes out great and it dries very quickly. I have three now.

Good but it is a slim fit so keep that in mind when purchasing. True base layer which stays close to the body.
