These are one of the best pairs of sneakers I have ever had. The fit I found true to size, good toe room, comfortable right out of the box I put them on for errands and then walk the dog, no break in needed. They are supportive and comfortable without being too squishy, I absolutely love them.

I love these sneakers. They fit true to size so no need to size up. The heel one reviewer mentioned is padded. I wear low cut socks which cover my heel. I have the blue pair and I have no trouble walking 6-7 miles in them a day. I will definitely re order another pair when I need them.

Great running/walking shoes. Amazing support. Sizing just did not work for me. I am a solid 6N and ordered a 6.

I found these on the clearance rack at the LL Bean store for much less than listed on the website. I tried these on and fell in love with them. For my feet, they are great. I have narrow flat feet and these are perfectly stiff and do not have annoying arches. I am usually a 9.5 in sneakers and found these in a 10, which was perfect. If the price was much lower, I would purchase the other color as well.

I walk alot of miles with some jogging. I needed a new pair of shoes with better cushioning. These are fantastic! These are the most comfortable walking/jogging shoes I have had in a long time! I did order up 1/2 size as suggested and they are a perfect fit. Super happy - espescialy since they were a 2-a-day markdown :)

I have never found a pair of shoes that felt wonderful from the beginning and are so very comfortable. I have never received so many compliments on a pair of shoes. The compliments come from ALL age groups! Love them and will definitely stick with them since I'm a daily walker. Thank you so much for this unbelievable product

"Very supportive" After looking and trying on about 20 pairs of sneakers in two shoe stores I decided to buy a pair from L.L. Bean's who I strongly support. I was very pleased at the fit/support. I do question about instructions on lacing them though. I would love to have you send me directions as there are so many holes on either side of the top of the sneakers by the tongue.

These are the best shoes I've ever had. And I love how they look I got them because my knees were feeling wonky and I wanted shoes with more cushion. They're so great for walking on the pavement for my daily neighborhood walks, I was able to walk for miles with them right out of the box. And I don't even need my orthotics because the inserts are so comfortable., they feel like walking on clouds.

Support and great shock absorption and rebound in a super lightweight package. Comfortable on a 6 mile walk!

Have bought many sneakers over the years, many costing more than this pair. I love them! You should not have to "break in" sneakers. They are either comfortable or not. I knew they were for me when I put them on.

I try to walk 6 to 7 miles per day. Over the past 2 months I've ordered three highly rated brands and styles for walking. Six altogether. I've returned them all much to my frustration. This is the pair I'm keeping. It's the most comfortable for my feet. True to size, great cushioning and support. I'm a very happy senior, FINALLY!!!!

I've found these shoes to have as good support as any Bean-sold athletic sneaker I've bought. The toe bed is wide enough to provide comfort without having had to order a wide size. The only issue I have is because of my high arches, the lace/tongue of the shoe barely covers the top of my foot. If I lace it too tight, it can pinch. I've made it work by loosening up the laces, alot, but this does leave little room for tying the laces. Hence the 4 stars instead of 5.

These would have been exactly what I've been seeking -- supportive, comfortable walking shoes with fairly firm soles and breathable mesh uppers -- had they only fit my foot. Unfortunately they were too narrow through the toe box and too wide in the heels.

Three good traits: 1. Nice looking 2. Good cushioning 3. Effective tread Two not-so-good: 1. Questionable breathability 2. Snug fit. Order up accordingly

Feels like I'm walking on air. The front is comfy (I think I have bunions) and the red version offers a pop of color. I wanted a more intense red, this red is a little muted and gentle, but looks good. The fit is almost chunky, not too clumpy. I like a sleek sneaker, but foot comfort comes first, and this is a good compromise between sleekness and chunk. I run for the bus, use stairs and walk in the city.

Mine are orange and comfortable. I would have liked a bit larger toe box.

I really like these sneakers. They are supportive, with a very high arch. The high arch makes your feet feel quite springy. (It is so high, that some people may not like it.) Best of all, I like the deep teal color.

These shoes were comfortable and cushy and fit perfectly. But for me there was a bit too much heal/toe drop. I prefer a lesser drop so my feet feel more in contact with the ground. There is nothing wrong with these shoes, it is just my preference. I purchased the Comfort Walkers and this pair of sneakers and the CW's were perfect for me! Consider the Comfort Walkers if you prefer less drop!
