When it comes to shoes I can wear from 8 to 9.5, it all depends on the shoe because my feet are a little wide around the front area. I ordered an 8 regular. Too big. With running socks they still slip. The amount of pulling to tight them is too much and will change them for a 7. I live in the tropics, no snow but rain n mud, no need for thick socks. If I did I would keep them in 8. Just remember they run big and as you can see in the pics, wide, but is the ankle area is that's really wide. Maybe a narrow size might help in the back, but the front feels perfect and in my case the size 8 regular was mainly a little too long. Besides that, they are super comfortable, enough to wear without socks and they look really good. The lining is soft. Navy blue and tan looks great. Will return and change for a 7. Loved them and can't wait to get them.

They came in last night and I have not wanted to take them off. They look great, feel sturdy and they are well made and very comfortable. I normally wear a size 6.5, so I ordered a 6. In the color I wanted, the narrow width was sold out, so I took a chance on the medium. Lengthwise and in the width there is a bit of extra room, just like the video says there should be. I'm wearing an everyday medium weight sock and when I walk they slide a bit and feel... well - casual. There should be room for a heavy sock which I will probably want later this week! So now I'm glad I didn't get the narrow ones. I have a narrow heel and have trouble with mules and flats falling off my feet when I walk. So I was prepared to have to return these. But the front comes high enough that it's not an issue. I tightened up the laces just a smidge and they stay on my foot without effort. Before purchasing I read the sizing notes and viewed the video and I'm glad I did. If you are considering these boots, please take the time to do this. If you wear a size 6 and plan to always wear these with heavy, insulated socks, you might be able to do these. Smaller footed ladies are out of luck in this style. I still don't want to take them off...

The shoes were exactly what I was looking for - casual waterproof shoes to last awhile. I am a size 8.5 so I ordered an 8 - the shoes were HUGE on me, so I had to return them for a size 7. The size 7 fits great, so please order a size down!

I ordered a pair of these boots and ordered the wrong size. After calling customer service, my right size boots were on the way and here in two days and my return was processed within three days. Who else is so good at this!!! Love the rubber mocs and had been looking for a good pair since my old ones (not LL Bean) wore out last year. Thank you to a great company

These are really high quality shoes and I love them. However, they tend to run a bit large in size. I have worn a woman's size 8 for many years, so when I ordered these shoes I ordered a size 8. However, when they came in and I tried them on, they were too large. So, I had to return them for a size 7. The size 7 worked just fine. I would consider this when ordering this type of shoes. You may need to go a full size smaller, since they are not offered in half sizes. Typical of L.L. Bean, they have a hassle-free return policy. This is why I am a return customer for many years. I would highly recommend these shoes!

I love these mocs and they're very comfortable, but it did take 3 pairs to get the right size (another reason I so appreciate the free return shipping with my LLBean credit card). I normally wear a 9Med, so I ordered an 8Med as recommended. The 8Med felt a bit snug all over with medium-weight socks, so I ordered both a 9Med and an 8Wide to try on. The 8Wide was just right. I will wear these mocs for errands and dog-walking on rainy days and in light snow, and I got a pair of 7" Bean Loungers in 8Wide for deeper snow.

I. Am so impresses with these shoes. They do run big and I had to return my first pair but that was so easy and I received my new pair within a day or two. I love them.

After 15+ years of daily wear, I finally decided to replace my Bean duck boots. With confidence, I ordered the same size as my old boots, 8 Wide. The new pair is so big in both length and width, that even my biggest wool hiking socks can't keep them on my feet. Comparing them to my old boots, they are almost a full inch longer and have no narrowing toward the heel. I am going to return them to a store in person so I can try on smaller sizes. The boots are still an excellent product, but I am disappointed with the new sizing.

Love these Mocs! I read the reviews before ordering, and ordered a size smaller, since most people said the mocs ran large. Had to return these and order true to size. But I LOVE them. I put them on when taking the dogs outside to do their thing. Slip on is just so convenient, and if I step in something, very easy to clean off. And waterproof means even if there is heavy dew or rain, my feet stay dry. These Mocs are comfortable, and one of the reasons I ordered them was because I have narrow feet, and these Mocs can be ordered in narrow. Love that they are made in the USA, and well made. I expect to have these Mocs for a long time. Thank you, LL Bean for making another quality product!

I just received my new rubber mocs in yellow, after having to return the size 7 for a size 6. Thought I'd try the 7, since I wear an 8 in sneakers but, the 6 fits fine. It was slipping off the back of my foot so I tightened the laces and it fits great. Love these for the spring because it rains alot here and they are not as warm as a boot. They are a little heavy in weight but, I kind of expected that since they are made so well. All and all, I now own a great pair of rain shoes.

The shoes were nice quality. I found them to run large, and since you aren't able to tighten them with the laces I had to return them since they only come in full sizes. I wish I could have used them.

I was in desperate need of a winter shoe that I could just slip on and head out the door. These were the answers to my prayers. I have a size women's 12 shoe, and have semi-wide feet, and find it hard enough to find shoes as many brands don't even make a shoe that large. I tried maybe about 3 other brands of these type of rubber moccasins before I found these. You REALLY have to read the sizing information because usually I'm a size 12M in shoes, but in these I found out that the 10W was the best fit. The best part about LL Bean is their customer service, as well as their lifetime guarantee on any product. I bought the shearling insoles for these and they are wonderful. I cannot rave enough about LL Bean and their products. Once you start shopping here, you'll find that the "competition" does not even compare.

these Mocs do the trick for keeping dry feet in rain and light snow. I wear them in California during rainy days and they help prevent slipping. And the best feature is that I can wear thick socks. And, my feet don't look huge in this shoe. Order a half size down at least because these shoes do run big. I wear a 9.5 and I fit well in a size 9 with a thick wool sock. great shoes for the price!

This will be my 2nd pair in 4 years. I forgot they run really big, so I had to return for 1 size smaller. I live in the midwest and they are the best shoe to slip into and walk my 2 dogs during the nasty early mornings with dew or ice..my feet are always dry and warm...I went thru 3 winters and the heals worn down, otherwise...BEST!!!

I have used these almost everyday since I got them, and they are great! They are very comfortable, and my feet stay dry when walking the dog through wet grass. I usally wear a wide, but I had to return the wide for a medium. Great shoes, and as usual, GREAT SERVICE!

This is a great outdoor shoe for wet or dry conditions and I don't know of any others like it on the market. It slips on quickly so you can get out in a hurry and slips off easily when you return - just in case you come back and don't want to track into the house. I have been wearing mine constantly for a year now and they are still in great shape. I just bought a second pair to leave in the car.

I was afraid of the sizing issue--I wear a 6.5 but the smallest size I could order is a 6. But I wanted to try these out and I am so glad I did. Excellent coverage for wet muddy weather! And I'm sure they will be good for the snow and ice of winter. Very happy I took the chance! LL Bean's easy return policy also gave me the confidence to give it a try.

I wear a 9 medium and ordered these in 8 medium (as recommended) and they fit fine - even with light/medium socks! I got them in the brown/tan - they are very well made and attractive shoes - I am sure I will enjoy them for years to come! We may be getting a thunderstorm today so I can test them out then! These will be great for spring/summer/fall rain weather. I got these to replace a well worn pair rain/garden clogs I got years ago from LLBean.

This shoe runs very large. I usually wear a 10.5 wide or 11 and I had to return several sizes until I found that a 9 medium width fits perfectly (even with heavy wool socks on). I wanted these shoes for running in and out of the car to school, grocery store, errands, etc. and they are perfect. Classic, but updated with pink. Very cute with khakies or jeans. I live in Minnesota where the weather ranges from slushy, with heavy wet snow to slick and icy -40 below. These boot provide warmth, dry feet and decent traction on the icy sidewalks and parking lots.

Bought the shoes for my daugther. She normally wears a 9-9 1/2 so ordered the 10 to enable warm thick socks. 10's way to big, so returned and obtained 9's. 9's almost to big. But, as always, return easy, 2nd pair delivered quickly. All is well. I am still wearing my original of those after 15+ years. thanks

I have very narrow feet and was thrilled to find a boot that actually said it was narrow. I wear a 7 1/2 AAA and ordered 8 N. I had to return the 8 and get a 7 N. It is still wider than I would like even with thick socks, but I keep hoping I will be able to tighten up the heel even more. I have not worn outside yet, still trying to make sure they will not give me heel blisters because of the loose heel.

Great product but, runs on the large size. Had to return for the smaller size.

I originally purchased these shoes to wear around the yard when having to step out for a couple of minutes or so. "Broken in" at this point, I now wear them to walk the dog during rainy weather. It is so nice not to return from a walk with cold wet feet.

I followed advice of other reviewers and LL Bean and purchased one size lower than normal but had to return them. My usual size was perfect, the narrow width felt too wide, but with socks and tightening the string they are fine. I wore them in the rain and they were comfortable and dry!
