I bought the rubber mocs for my wife for her birthday. I ordered a 10 which is her normal size. They wound up being too large and since we were returning them for a smaller size, she selected a different color as well. The return slip provided in the package made the return easy and we received the replacement shoes promptly.

I had been thinking of buying a pair of rubber mocs for a couple of years and I'm glad that I finally did. However, I should have paid attention to the reviews and order a full size down. I usually wear a size 8 but I had to return the first pair for a size 7. They are still a little loose with a light-weight sock, but with a heavier sock they are perfect. They slip on and off easily for those numerous trips in and out of the house. They are perfect in wet weather or when our unpaved driveway is muddy but I don't need a full boot. If I forget to carry my shoes to work, the moc is comfortable enough to keep on all day. I highly recommend this product.

These booties are so sharp looking I can wear them everywhere on a rainy messy day... they are warm and waterproof and most of all pretty.. BUT they run super big. I originally ordered them a half size smaller (8) than I usually wear (8 1/2) and had to return them for the next size down (7)! Word of warning. Extra disappointing since I wanted to start wearing them right away.

I have to return it. It really is sized incorrectly.

I had a pair of these that lasted through years of heavy yard work. For my new pair, I followed recommendations and went a full size and a half down (I'm an 8.5, ordered size 7) because I don't wear heavy socks with them. Eventually I was happy with them, but there was a critical piece of information missing: Lacing is everything. Until I worked on the lacing system, tightening the sides quite a bit and then running the side laces over the front cross-lace to lock them in place, the boots were sloppy and uncomfortable. Now, they fit perfectly. More details on lacing would have been very helpful.

I really looked forward to receiving these boots. They looked great and I felt the quality would be great as well. I ordered down one size from normal, but the heel area was still too large even when I tried them on with two pair of medium weight socks. The heel still slipped when I walked. Decided to return them and will try the newer style urban boot. As always the customer service people were very helpful. Just disappointed they did not fit.

I bought my normal size and had to return because it was way too big. I haven't received the replacement yet. They do look like a great shoe, I had a pair many years ago that lasted forever.

This is the best item I've ever bought to keep my feet dry in all kinds of weather and to wear with style, as well as function. I am so glad they're such great quality. This winter, I've been wearing them almost every day, except when I need my 12" LL Bean Wellies. I had to return them for a size smaller; I ordered size 10, but size 9 fits with a pair of thicker socks. Love them and highly recommend them, but a size smaller than you usually order.

This Rubber Moc is extremely huge! It's made for extremely thick socks when worn. Since I don't wear extremely thick socks, I had to return the shoe for a complete size smaller, which was a better fit but still roomy if I wanted to wear regular thick socks.

Good solid product. Unfortunately the fit is too wide and I have to return for exchange to slimmer model.

Decided to purchase since I live in a warm climate that has heavy rain frequently. The quality is great. Follow size recommendations--I had to go down two sizes since I will not be wearing these with heavy socks and I normally have a wide foot but did not need to order the wide size. You may have to play with the sizing until you get it right. The return process is simple and easy, customer service reps are helpful. The quality of the stitching is good as are the materials used. They are a perfect gift for a college student since they are a comfortable slip-on and allows them to be prepared for several weather scenarios.

Great mocs. good price, fabulous service, free shiping, easy return. 100% good experiece. If it was colder here I would be a frequent customer.

I would highly recommend purchasing ANYTHING from L.L. Bean. Even though I had to return these because I choose the wrong size, I am going to purchase another product. Rick in Customer Service was especially helpful. When he knew what I waned them for, he suggested another style that will work much better for me. The product is wonderful, I just choose the wrong size.

Comfort is great. Feels like an athletic shoe. Definitely get a size smaller. A tad slippery on smooth, wet surfaces. Especially happy with the MADE IN MAINE. I just know they will last 20+ years !!! If not, LL Bean's exchange/return policy is exceptional.

I have wanted a pair of these Bean Boot Rubber Mocs for years, but this is my first pair (and I LOVE them). Prior to making my purchase, I read all of the Consumer Reviews on the website. After completing my research, I was so skeptical about the sizing of this item that I almost didn't buy them. However, one person noted that she normally wore a 9 or 9 1/2 shoe and the SIZE 7, Medium width Bean Boot Moc worked best for her. As I typically wear a 9 or 9 1/2 shoe, I decided that I would order these shoes in the SIZE 7 medium width. I thought that I would give it a try and if they came in and didn't fit, I could always return them. When the shoes arrived, I immediately tried them on, and to my surprise they fit PERFECTLY!!! I was so happy I ordered them and even more happy that I read the reviews. I wore these shoes for over an hour the first day, and they feel fantastic on. I wear them with regular athletic socks, and I like the fit. If it is super hot or humid out, it might be a good idea to wear those socks that wick away moisture since these shoes are water proof and thus not very breathable in the way athletic shoes are, but either way the shoe feels fantastic on. I have had a lot of foot problems over the years and my feet typically hurt during the course of one day, but with these shoes on they didn't hurt at all. The rubber bottoms are great for doing the amount of walking that I typically do. I was so surprised at how comfortable these mocs were. And they keep your feet DRY!!! I recommend these to everyone, as they are fabulous shoes! I love them and plan on ordering more in the future. Maybe a pair in each color (that's how much I love these shoes)!

I ordered these for my 83 year old mother. We bought a 7 which is usually a little small in regular shoes and had to return them for a 6. The sixes are perfect and my mother loves them.

Great for gardening in wet areas. Great return service for exchange in size. Yes order the smaller size. More comfortable with heavier sock.

Had to return them. They were way too big and the lace broke when I tried to tighten it. Excellent quality and design and the green color was so nice. Might try a size down.

After receiving my order, I found that the rubber mocs were a size too large. I called for an exchange and was pleasantly surprised how easy it was to do. Not only was a replacement at my door within five days but directions to make the return at no cost to me was included. Thanks L.L.Bean!!

I normally wear a 7.5-8 shoe. These run very large. I originally got a 7 & had to return that for a 6. They are on the narrow side so I can't wear them with thick socks. They are comfortable too. But overall, Love my new Bean Boots! Would recommend them to anyone. Now I feel like a true LL Bean fanatic!

I am normally a size 7 1/2 Medium but had to return first pair and downsize to a 7 Narrow in order to ensure a proper fit. Once I got the second pair, the fit and the purpose worked beautifully. I highly recommend this shoe for walking on wet surfaces. The shoes keep my feet and socks dry and me comfortable. Emily

We had to return/exchange the first pairs for both my husband and me b/c they were really way too big (even though we had ordered a smaller size for each of us to begin with - we needed to go not only 1 size smaller in length than our ordinary size, but also a size narrower as well). They are really comfortable and easy to slip into. LLC Bean was excellent at making the exchange quickly and with great customer service! We will definitely order again.

These re beautiful and stylish; however, I had to return because they didn't fit me.

Beautiful rain shoe but too long. Would have loved to have had it fit. Advise sizing down. My size nine (9) shoe was more like a 9 1/2. Not like a usual fit. Too long highly unusual. Disappointed.

These shoes were so awesome. But way too big. I love the look and the color but literally a full size and half too large. I sent back and didn't reorder. The first thing I've every gotten from Bean too large.
