Not a good fit for me. The back of the shoe rubbed my heel.

Not at all what I expected from LLBean. The color was terrible, did not fit or feel good on my feet. I returned them.

The shoe was stiff overall, with a completely inflexible sole. the toe box was high enough but slightly narrow. My heels slipped with every step. They were sturdy, for sure, but not comfortable. I returned them immediately.

These shoes were too stiff and rigid and were very uncomfortable on my feet. They felt like those steel toed work shoes.... They would be much nicer if they were softer and more flexible on your feet. I ordered them in Dark Blue and Gray and returned both pairs....

These shoes feel exactly like hiking shoes. They have a very stiff sole and they are quite heavy. They were uncomfortable for walking at a brisk pace because there is no give to the sole, so I am returning them.

When these shoes came, I was eager to wear them as they looked so great but I put them on and wore them around my apartment quickly realizing that wide was not wide enough and I had to send them back.

Nice shoes, but since I have a very narrow foot, I ordered a women's medium, Narrow B width. These shoes are very wide and then some. I normally order a men's 9 medium, but these are much wider. Very disappointed.

These fit well. True to size. Nice and wide. But, they did not have a arch. Needed to put in inserts with a arch in them. Another problem is when they get wet. The color leaches. Turns my socks blue and my toes black from the dye. Not too happy about that. I think the price for these were a little to high for the quality.

I have been buying these walking shoes for years, in red, which is no longer offered. They were made in Myanmar, and were very nicely made, comfortable, and long lasting. I recently ordered another pair in frost gray, made in Vietnam. They are very uncomfortable. The back of the shoe, when placed next to my old pair, is a good half inch higher, which makes it dig into my tendon very painfully. I can't wear these shoes. The color selection is dismal, you have ruined a perfectly good walking shoe. They are not the quality LL Bean was known for. Back they go!

I ordered these shoes previously and loved them. Unfortunately this latest pair were very uncomfortable and stiff. They dug into me just below my ankles. After a week, they were too painful to wear.

So disappointed. I can only wear these indoors on a smooth, dry surface. If I venture on a wet sidewalk, I slip. Waste of money. I've learned my lesson. Hiking shoes from L L Bean are fine, but its walkers--at least his style--are duds. They are in my donation bag.

The shoes are very good quality. But I got the wrong size and had to return it. At the time of this review the shoes are in transit back to headquarters

These are poorly sized! My size was way too small and the next size up was too big. Beware.

I wear an 8 1/2-9 W. Ordered these in 9W. Could not even jam my foot into one. NOT wide and at least one size too small. If you order these, size up!

Love these shoes for walking. Very comfortable. I think I'm on my 4th pair, but I don't count. I just buy another pair when needed.

I have bunions, more pronounced on my left foot. I wear other brands of walking shoes in a medium width as long as they have a wide toe box. I ordered these in a wide just to be safe. Even in a wide, these were very narrow in the toes and pinched my left toes. They were very wide in the middle of the shoe, making them fairly unattractive. I returned them.

Previously purchased 2 pairs a year ago and fit was great. Ordered 2 more pair and fit was too small, reordered a half size up and fit still feels uncomfortable. Only difference I can see is the first 2 pair were made in Vietnam and the newer pairs were made in Myanmar. Very disappointed in LL Bean's quality control. Will also be returning these.

I wear a size 11 wide. When I got these shoes, they said they were 11 wide, but they were way too small first time that has ever happened with LL Bean. I had to return them.
