Most comfortable out of the box I have ever bought and I am celebrating my 75 th birthday

I ordered a pair of the grey mesh for summer wear. The grey appears silvery, very attractive. The mesh shoes are stiffer than the suede and not as wide, though the same size as my suede shoes. These are comfortable and well-made, but are not a rework of the suede style. They're restyled and look more like a sneaker, but fit more comfortably. I'm satisfied, satisfied with them! If you found the suede shoes were too wide, try these. You won't be disappointed,

Not being used to buying shoes on line I ordered a size too large but im good with them. No break in phase. They look nice. I like them very much and would buy them again. I highly recommend them.

I love these shoes! I usually wear a size 9 but got a 9.5 to make room for my bunion, A perfect decision! I just placed a foam Dr. Scholl's liner in the other shoe to take up the extra space. They're so comfortable and supportive and I love the burgundy color. Very well made and handsome!

I wanted a good pair of walking shoes for trails because I needed a new pair. This was it! They are comfortable and look good. I am considering getting another pair at some point.

I ordered the Comfort shoe from last winter without the mesh. Can't wear regular sneakers, so tried these. Immediate comfort, great fit. I have a bad knee, but when I wear these shoes my knee doesn't bother me at all! I plan to order a pair of the Comfort shoes with mesh to wear in summer for the support they give! Can't brag enough about how light-weight and comfortable these shoes are. They are an investment in being able to walk and walk without pain and to actually enjoy the trip without becoming weary. I ordered a size 8 first because in other brands I have to go up a half-size. They were too large. I ordered true to my size and they fit well. The suede shuns stains, too, which I find a real plus! This is my go-to shoe!

I wear a women's 11W which are VERY hard to get. I have found the LL BEAN 11W to be the perfect fit for my foot. I had a knee replaced, and then due to that, had to have an insert to lengthen my opposite leg. The inserts fit perfectly and I can walk for miles in these shoes! Please never stop making them!!!

I don't usually get too excited about walking shoes but these shoes answer all my wishes for a comfortable, stylish walking shoe. They are well made, sturdy and have very good arch support. I put them on right out of the box and wore them on a long walk with no "new shoe" issues. I ordered a 7 1/2 wide which is my normal walking shoe size because I always like to wear a heavier socks with them. I ordered the burgundy color and it is classy. You won't be sorry if you order these shoes.

Best decision I have made in a long time: I walk - a LOT. During this "dam-panic" it has had to be my main source of exercise. I needed to replace my walkers and chose to go with this walking shoe. They fit beautifully, are comfortable, and have the perfect (for me) soles. Very safe and sturdy. Love them!

I found these shoes to be very comfortable. The toebox is wide enough to comfortably accommodate my bunions. I can insert my orthotics without removing the innersole and they are still comfortable. So glad I bought them.

I love these shoes. I have been wearing Skechers for my daily 3 mile walk, but after several years my feet have been aching lately. So, I decided to try this more substantial walking shoe and I am so glad I did. My feet and ankle joints don't ache anymore and the shoes fit very well. I can tell they have a very good arch support because I can feel how my foot is cradled in the shoe. I am very happy I tried this shoe and I will order another pair when this one wears out, which might be awhile since it seems so well made.

I originally thought I ordered a New Balance shoe through LL Bean. I was disappointed when I opened them. When I tried them on the fit perfectly on my foot. I didn't have to break them in.I do a lot of walking and they are a comfortable shoe to wear. These shoes are just as good as New Balance shoes I would highly recommend them.

These shoes are a perfect fit, and they are very comfortable!

These were a little wide for my very narrow foot but I am able to tie them tight enough to work. I have only worn them in the house so far so cannot speak to how well they would do walking for several hours on concrete. But they are very comfortable and do not require any real breaking in. I will probably add my own orthotic when spring comes and I wear them for running around. I really like the dark navy color. Plan to get a lot of use out of these shoes once I can travel again.

I just purchased two additional pairs of this wonderful walking shoe which is especially great when walking on concrete tracks and hard surfaces.

I purchased these 7 months ago for working on my feet in the medical field. I have tried every brand and price point of athletic footwear available and they do not hold up. These have held up to long hours on my feet and I'm purchasing another pair; not because they've worn out but because I want them on hand for when they do! Granted I do not wear these every day because of various job requirements but they have long outlasted any others I've found. They are true to size, and supportive with just enough cushion. The medium width toe box is rounded with enough room that if a person runs borderline Med/Wide width they will be fine with a medium. Please continue making these forever! They are the best!

I have some foot issues, so it's hard to find shoes that are comfortable. These shoes fit the bill!!! I can walk all day without my feet hurting. Thank you L.L. Bean!

These shoes are a perfect fit--comfortable right out of the box. I have a wide foot and often the toe box will be wide but narrows too much at the top. These shoes have a nice wide toe box that doesn't pinch my toes. I was able to walk my usual two miles without even breaking them in. I ordered a second pair just to have them because it seems that manufacturers are so inconsistent in sizing. My only suggestion would be to offer them in a brown color--more like hiking shoes. Bean often offers brown in men's shoes but not in women's. I bought these in the navy color--it's okay but a nice medium or dark brown would be better for walking shoes.
