Customer Reviews New Balance Fresh Foam X 880v13

I bought these in the gray (which are really the color of light wash jeans) to replace an older version of the 880. I bought the same size. These are great! Perfect fit, great cushioning, trimmer look. I love everything about these and will probably buy a second color.

Fit and size seem accurate. Pretty good arch support. I love the extra cushioning and the Broadhill, which is really helping with Balance. Super comfortable shoe. Nothing binds. I love that you cannot see the NB screaming its name on the sides.?

The foam was really soft and comfortable. Somehow I could not walk with the foam pad for a long time. Perhaps the arch support was too much for my arch.

Fit was nice once I sized up a half-size. The laces are oddly short too, but they work.

The third version of this shoe I have bought (v11,12,13). Love it and never had a problem ordering from Zappos. However, I did not like the color offered this time (V13). I chose black, but I would appreciate more muted colors like grey and light blue. I don't need bright colors or harsh contrasts. Also, love ordering from Zappos, but this time the shoe was way too small, and took me a while to realize they sent my size in women's so I sent it back.

It is so beautiful, but a little bit smaller than I expected :(

Great fit breathable material on top & side felt good when on good for walking and using all day.

Wonderful shoes

I buy this shoe every year. The v13 doesn't begin to compare to the older pair I have at home. These are shorter and narrower. A couple of years ago I was wearing an 8 1/2 2E. The last pair, which fits fine, is a 9, 2E so that's what I ordered. If you place this new pair next to my older ones you can see the difference in length and width. The toe box is much narrower and shaped differently. Unfortunately, I purchased 2 pair of the new ones and didn't keep both original boxes so I can only return one pair

Too large and was leather so too heavy

I can always count on NewBalance. Unfortunately, the right shoe of this pair felt like it was causing my foot to lean outward. I love this brand but this pair just isn't right for me.

They are a bit too narrow and the shoes were already WORN!!! I should have realized when I saw they were already laced. But after looking at them I noticed creasing and staining on the sides and bottoms.

I have bunions and was told this shoe could work, but it was not deep enough compared to my Brooks Ghost.

The right shoe is slightly tighter than the left. If I exchange them for the next size up, then the left shoe will be too big. I will try to get used to them by just wearing them around the house to see if the right shoe adjusts to my foot

Tad too small

I love these shoes! Although I am not crazy about the color (black and white), they are super lightweight, have great support all over (including heels), and good arch support. I had been wearing Brooks, but these New Balance shoes have made me a convert to NB. I wear a 10.5 narrow, and the heels still slip a little on these shoes, but less than Brooks.

Very comfortable. Probably should have gave 5 stars. For me and my previous broken foot, I needed a little more cushion and impact support. Softer on the top. That's where my foot was fractured. Great sneaker though.

I am in between 8.5 and 9, and B and D widths, so it took a bit of fiddling, using a metatarsal pad, to get these to fit. I had the previous version which was slightly shorter, but it seems the sizes change with each iteration. This version is also bit stiffer than the previous one. I am keeping them.

This is the second pair of these shoes I have oredered. I like the second pair as well as the first.

Runs half size small. Good comfort and comes in narrow width.

I prefer Ascis....lighter and less bulky

Too small and not wide enough. They don't fit like my other fresh foams.

Comfortable at first but started to feel tight when breaking them in - about 2 weeks. I don’t believe they were 100% true to size, maybe 1/2 size smaller than shown

Squeaked

Shoe provided minimal support as the top front was a mesh and would have even let in a very light rain.
