This is a nice jacket for days that are not below 40 degrees. It is light in weight and flares out a bit at the hip, allowing cold air to enter. It has snaps rather than a zipper and a stylish high collar. I am 5 foot seven and 150 pounds and originally ordered size large but I had to return it for a medium.

This jacket looks nice on me and it seems well made. I'm waiting for some really cold weather to see if it's warm. I don't like the snaps, would prefer buttons or a zipper. And I'm not crazy about the gold, would prefer silver. Overall it's a good jacket.

I first ordered a small and it was very loose. I normally wear a small, sometimes medium, but I traded this for an extra small. I like it

This jacket does what I wanted, something wind resistant, light weight, comfortable for outside tasks in coolish to moderately cold temperatures. This jacket does all that and is washable. My only slight disappointment is that it looks a bit bulky, definitely not shaped, and a bit wide.

Another almost perfect jacket that is missing a secure interior pocket. Many women today do not want to be burdened with carrying a purse and just want a an interior pocket for small wallet or phone and credit card. Please put interior pockets back into jackets, and leave the hoods off. A simple jacket to run errands would be great.

True to size and comfortable. I hoped-for a softer feel, more cuddly, but I like the way it looks with my black jeans.

Absolutely love the classic look of this jacket. Professional enough to wear into the office but comfortable enough for off-duty. Fits TTS with enough room to layer over a mid-weight sweatshirt (may be a little tight over a really thick/ oversized sweatshirt). The jacket is a little thinner than I expected but still pretty insulated. However, I love that the cuffs are cinched but not tight. Overall, would recommend.

This jacket will be a nice cool (but not cold) weather addition to my wardrobe. It is well made and attractive. I just wish the sleeves weren't so long. I have to tuck them under for jacket and pretty much all my LLBean jackets/fleeces.

I ordered the Blue in Medium. Fit is good with room to layer, which you will want to do if you're looking for real warmth. The color is nice, kind of grayish blue. Silver colored buttons and zippers would have looked nicer with the blue but was not a deal breaker.

I expected this coat to be heavier and warmer than it is. After reading the description again, I realized it says " a hint of warmth" and " a hint of insulation adds extra warmth for cool weather". Apparently in LL Bean speak that means a very light jacket, NOT a warm coat. Darn, because I really like the style, color, and fit so I only took off one star. Returned it.

Very pretty color and nice brass-colored buttons. The size is a little small for me. I ordered a "Medium," and am actually a "Small," but like my clothing loose and would have liked a little more room.

Returned jacket. It felt stiff and bulky and I didn't like the look. Nothing wrong with quality of jacket just wasn't what I was looking for.

I ordered my normal size in the Rangely Blue which is just a gorgeous color on. I was so disappointed to find out the hem is split on the sides and the bottom of the jacket flares out. If you have a bit of hip, this may be ok, but I am stick straight and it looks silly. And because of the split sides, there is not way to cinch the bottom shut. In addition, this is a very light weight jacket. For some reason I got the impression the outside of it was cotton and the insulation was heavier. I was wrong. The outside is a smooth nylon and there is very little insultation which is fine for spring and cool fall days, but it will not handle a bit of cold well. Not worth the price point and the design on the hem could be way better.

I loved this jacket! The fit was great, plenty of room in the waist area for a sweatshirt but the arms were tight with a t shirt on and it was so tight through the shoulders that I was afraid it was going to rip before I got it off. I had to return it so my search continues

I wanted to love this jacket. It was on backorder. Unfortunately, as many retailers jackets have been running, it was too snug across my broad shoulders. Back it went. I conditionally recommend it to others with narrower shoulders. It has quality construction, otherwise. The Carbon Navy was a nice color, as well.

I returned this jacket as I did not like where the pockets were lined up or the overall fit.

I had great hopes for this jacket. I wanted a good jacket for fall days when the temperature calls for a jacket but not one that's winter weight. I think this jacket would have worked out fine if it had fit properly. The fit was fine everywhere except in the hips. Other LL Bean tops I have from a number of years ago fit fine in the hips. This is one of several items I have had to return recently due to tightness through the hip area. I think the LL Bean fit has gotten slimmer. Unfortunately I won't be ordering any more jackets or tops; I dislike having the hassle and expense of returning items.

The size was a bit tight under the arms, although I have tried this jacket on at llbean and it fit fine. There was a bulge in the seam on the lower right side.

I love this jacket, the style, fit etc. But there is only one thing wrong: the snaps. It is too hard to unsnap them, and I am afraid of tearing the fabric. But I am keeping it anyhow as other than that it is perfect.

The jacket fit well and looked good but wasn't very "cozy" as stated in the description. I'd bought it to take with me to the UK in the spring and it really wasn't warm enough to wear without layering underneath. Somewhat disappointing.

I loved this jacket. It's light weight and I liked the snaps instead of a zipper. Size 12, medium always fit, but I had to return it because fitted was too tight. Please make this jacket available in a relaxed fit.

I always get excited when I see LL Bean jackets only to be disappointed when I go to purchase one. Why don't you make tall sizes of the jackets? Size inclusivity includes us tall people!
