I purchased the petite version in blue. This spring jacket is the perfect weight for warmer, but still chilly spring days. It has a nice cut, while still allowing you to easily layer sweaters and fleeces underneath. I would have preferred a double-zip, but this wasn't a dealbreaker. But just two months after receiving, and only a month or so of wear due to the unusually cold spring we are having, the quilting is already coming undone. I can not easily repair it without deconstructing the jacket. LL Bean has replaced it, but they required me to pay for the replacement and possibly the return shipping until they "examine" the returned jacket to confirm it is defective, at which time they'll process my refund. This is the first time I've ever had an issue with the quality of an item from LL Bean, so I will confess to being a bit disappointed, and also saddened at how hard they made the process of getting a new jacket. I truly expected they'd just send a replacement and a return label.

I have long arms and a long torso (5'11") and this jacket is long enough in both! Comfortable material, love that it keeps my neck a bit warm with the collar, and love the zippered pockets. Wearing this jacket a ton since it arrived! I like that it's a little more polished than a puffy.

Bought this for my college student just in time for the latest snowstorm and they are living in it. Great color and fit, and flexible across temperatures.

I really like this jacket! I'm 5'11" and 145 lbs with a long torso and long arms and the medium works just fine for me! Was thrilled it worked even not being in a tall size. Love the zippered pockets and cozy collar. Gold snaps are a great touch too. As others have said, surprisingly warm but also lightweight and breathable.

I've had this jacket for 2 years and it's much warmer than expected. Quality has been great too. It's my go to in spring fall and early winter.

Liked the ivory one I got last year so much that I got a second one in blue. Comfortable, nice looking and perfect for any weather 40 degrees and up.

Love this jacket. I bought a green one 2 years ago and wore it all spring and fall. I spent one month in Ireland and wore it everyday. It is lightweight and easy to crumple up and use as a pillow on the plane. It has deep pockets and a high neck to keep the wind out. Only improvement would be a hood for all the rain in Ireland.

I bought this coat for a warm winter / cold spring in NYC. Worked great for about 25-50 F. Under thirty, you'll need a thin sweater. Arms and shoulders are tight, L is definitely a 12, not a 14 (women's). Also works in anything but full on rain storm. Love the minimal down, that is so warm, combined with the (incredible) waxed cotton, is a toasty treat. And if you're hot, just unzip. Completely worth the price, I'll wear this for at least 20 years, if I'm alive. #lol

I love this jacket. It fits well and is very warm without being heavy and bulky. I especially like having buttons as well as a zipper. The fit is perfect. I got the charcoal one and would have purchased a light grey if it was available. I recommend it highly.

It was a gift to my aunt. She likes the color, fit, and the style. She really likes that it is warm yet, lightweight.

I bought this for my 90 year old mother who loves it. She is able to put it on by herself - which was an issue, and is able to close the snaps and open them with ease. She loves it - loves the style and the lightweight feel of the jacket.

I purchased the deep olive jacket in regular medium my usual size. It fits great and I can wear sweaters or vests with the jacket on really cold days. It was a great purchase I have worn many times this fall and now winter in the Northeast. Highly recommend it.

Love this jacket for when it's cold but not too cold. I can wear a warm bulky layer under a medium which is great .And I love the zipper pockets.

This jacket is comfortable.So glad I purchased this item. It's lightweight but yet keeps the wind out and is warm. LL Bean may be a little pricey but their garments are worth every penny!!!

Love this jacket! It's the perfect weight for in between weather and I can always add a layer under it in cooler temps. I get a lot of compliments on the color and fit.

Received several compliments on this lightweight jacket for in between weather. Like the standup collar (not a fan of hoods). Wasn't sure about the snap closure but actually like it a lot! Zippers can be a real pain.

Ideal for fall to winter weather i.e. parka too warm, sweater not warm enough. Was a bit on the small side therefore laying out of the question. However so well made, it was a keeper.
