This was a great purchase. My legs and actually whole body were warmer with this coat. It looks slimming and I really liked the navy blue color.

I am very pleased with this coat! It has been around -10 degrees F the past few mornings and not only does the coat keep me warm, it also keeps the wind from blowing in. I love how light it is and I can wear a sweater under it and still move comfortably.

The coat is a nice midweight warmth, good for layering on very cold days. It's an attractive fit, not too puffy. Nice length too, keeps hips warm.

Love everything about this coat. Warm without being bulky.

Absolutely love this coat it is everything I wanted. Perfect fit, perfect warmth. It is light enough for everyday things, trips to the grocery store, riding in the car and warm enough for my 5 am northeast morning walk!

A great, light, beautiful jacket! I followed other reviewers' comments and got a size up. It was actually a little baggy feeling so I exchanged it for a smaller size (i.e. what the sizing chart recommended). It fit much better. That being said, it does has a slim profile, but I prefer that. Also, it is fairly warm, but it isn't my heaviest jacket (I live in central NY). I feel comfortable wearing it through the 20s if I am walking and moving.

Love this coat. So soft and warm. Very glad that I bought it. The blue is beautiful. Glad I didn't buy black. The sales person in the store was spot on when she said that this coat would be the best!

Comfortable in all the right places. I can wear added fleece or sweater if needed or go it alone with the soft & warm liner. The length looks good on all body types Pockets and hood are easily accessable. I love it! Been wearing it everyday since receiving it on Christmas. Im petite so I got the small and it covers my assests to lower thighs. Great find in the LL Bean Line.

This is my favorite coat ever! I was a little concerned about the zipper holding up but so far so good.

Just came in from a long dog walk wearing my new primaloft fleece-lined coat. Live in the NE and today is 28 degrees with some wind. I am wearing a sweatshirt underneath. Chose this coat because it is wind and water resistant, and it passed with flying colors.It is light weight and comes down to mid thigh for full coverage. Like the fact that it can be worn for city use as well as weekend wear. This coat will be great for travel. Very well made with two way zipper, functioning hood that stays up, zip pockets, and elastic at the sleeves to keep out the wind. I will get frequent use now and going into early spring. While I wear a huge winter coat for NE snow days, this coat hits a perfect in-between. For someone living in warmer climates, this coat would be a great choice.I will use this on my daily dog walks, zoo volunteering, and travel.

This is the BEST coat! I bought two, one for my mom and one for my daughter. We live in the south so do not have harsh winters, more mild ones. Well, when we get below 50 degrees, we need a one layered, warm coat. This works perfectly. I got them both Petite and they fit so nicely.

So the zipper broke. Send it back an LLBean will replace it customer Service is outstanding. Great Company!

I love this jacket. Winters can be anywhere from mild to snowy where I live, and this has so far been a great option for either. I do layer up if it's particularly cold (in the 20s), but this coat is comfortable and definitely cuts the wind while I'm out walking. I definitely recommend this over a bulky jacket!

This is my first shell coat like this. So far it's working out well. I like how it fits, I like the color (I got the teal). It's not as warm by itself as my previous LL Bean coat, but as long as I have a fleece jacket or a sweatshirt underneath, I've found it to be quite warm enough for taking a walk out in the increasingly temperate Pennsylvania winters.

Best Jacket I own wore for a trip to NYC and it was cold in the 40's and even rained one day perfect lined jacket with hat . I even took other jackets but ended up wearing this one the entire time . Kept me warm without feeling heavy and bulky . Perfect for layers .

This is a very warm coat, trim, but suited for cold Michigan winters. Stylish patterning. Like many coats made overseas, the zipper is 2nd rate (as listed in countless reviews for several suppliers) but companies are unwilling to change. Still, a very good coat.

This is an amazing coat. It's become my everyday go to. It's warm and so thin and light weight - you wouldn't think it keeps out the cold, but it does! I didn't even think this was possible. It's comfortable to wear in the car with a seatbelt. I purchased a large. I'm typically a medium in shirts but I like to go larger in coats so that sweaters can be worn comfortably underneath. I also tend to have broader shoulders for a woman so I need the space in that area. I have an athletic build.

I am really happy with my purchase. Jacket is soft, well made and with nice shape. The arms are quite longer than I wanted but it is still ok and not a deal breaker. For reference I am 5'4" and 113 lbs. regular small fits well with room for thick jacket.

Great jacket! I ordered a medium at first to leave room for sweaters but then exchanged it for a small. The process was extremely easy to exchange and I got the correct size only 2 days after the exchange!

The coat is the perfect weight and warmth for those winter days that are cold but not frigid!. Attractive! Just what I needed for shopping trips, walking the dog, and driving!

Light weight and easy to slip on and off, yet this coat is quite warm and wind resistant, it is also a perfect length for walking on trails or in town. The hood is excellant, can slip over a hat or by itself. Deep side pockers are good for essentials.
