This coat is wonderful. It's lightweight yet warm. It's also comfortable in the car because of the two way zipper.

So happy with this coat. Pleasantly surprised that I am warm and not looking like I am wearing several layers.

I live in South Florida and suddenly needed a coat to travel to a state where the temps were running in the high forties. Checked all the usual "cold weather" online stores , and this was the only coat that fit the bill. It was perfect for my needs: black, no down, mid-length, warm, slimming, washable, and easily foldable, taking up little space in my luggage. I do wish the hood were detachable, so the coat could look less wintry when the weather is warmer than the forties.

I'm enjoying this coat on the long walks I take with my dog in DC. I feel warm even when the temperature drops to 20 degrees! I'm glad I bought it.

The coat fits perfectly and I love the color. I wasn't sure I wanted a hood, but I have been thankful for it in our extra cold winter this year. Worn over a fleece, it keeps me warm into the low 20's, even with a breeze!

This coat is warm without being bulky. It fits well, falls mid thigh and has good cuffs. I like the look and the quality. The lining and hood are soft and warm. I am very pleased with this purchase.

I was looking for a "car coat" that would be comfortable for errands and shopping etc. This coat is light enough for that and warm enough for walking in windy Massachusetts winter weather. It is flattering, fits well, loose enough for layers if I want and long enough.

I really like the coat and the color. I was disappointed that there is no inside zipper pocket.

I love this coat! Shields from wind and warm enough for a coldbut not too coldday. The lining is so soft, and the fit is perfect! At 5'6" and 175 lbs, an XL slides over my clothing comfortably. It's constructed with the care one expects from LL Bean. I'll probably get another one in a different color.

Very nicewarm yet lightweight. Stood up to long flights and many miles in the London tube. Kept me warm and dry.

Warm and light coat. Nice lengh with bottom zipper to open when sitting down. Would buy again, but it is missing a phone pocket.

I love this coat. It is stylish and warm. As a teacher I love it during outdoor recess. The hood protects me from the artic breezes. I also like the reddish brick color.
