Don't like the fit. Too fitted for my body. Nice material though. Had to return.

Warm jacket but the fabric makes it difficult to slide arms into sleeves.

For me, it was too long, accentuating my hips more than I liked. The texture of the fleece was what attracted me to the garmet. Why anyone would want a picket in the upper chest on a women's jacket, I don't know.

I love the look of this jacket. It is a bit more stylish than a basic fleece jacket. It is not flexible like a basic fleece. In fact it feels stiff compared to a basic fleece. Because of this I had to buy a size small instead of my normal xs. I may take it back as I have not worn it yet.

Not exactly what I thought it would be when I ordered it. Truly is more of an "outer layer" than a fleece. Feels well made, has a nice weight to it and fits accurately for an XL. I am sometimes a L and sometimes an XL at llbean. I'm glad I went with the xl this time because the material is not stretchy. Warm, perfect for Vermont spring and fall and blocks the wind very well.

This jacket looks sharp, and is warm. The fit is fine, but the garment is stiff quite different from the usual coziness of polar fleece. Okay when standing but awkward when sitting.

This Jacket runs small. I normally wear a large and this jacket just fits. I could not wear a sweatshirt/sweater under it. Also, it's not very warm or windproof as described. Not worth the money.

A bit baggy. Also I was looking for a brighter color, in order to be seen well in the woods. Returned it and will keep looking.

I really wanted to like this jacket but the sizing is off. The arms were too long and too narrow to wear anything underneath and the length was longer than a typical jacket. Also, I didn't find it very warm. Overall it just didn't fit right so I returned it.

The jacket is more attractive than I thought it would be. But, like others, I find the sleeves and bust run small. I couldn't put a sweater of any weight under it. I have a petite size, and I just ordered a regular to see if that is a better fit. But, the sizing chart suggests the only difference is the regular may have longer sleeves...and they are already long. So, I am not sure this is going to work out for me. I think they need to take a second look at the sizing of this particular jacket which certainly is far smaller than other things ordered in that same size.

The style was nice, the color pretty, liked the pockets. The sleeves were tight on me and I thought I would not be able to where a long sleeve-Tee underneath it. I did not like the fleece, it was stiff. I returned this jacket because I wanted it to fit under a wind breaker and it was too bulky.

Runs too small in the arms! So constricting feeling. Also runs small in general. I am a size 10 woman and I could not zip it up over my chest without feeling like I was in a straight jacket.

It has become a chronic LL Bean style problem that those of us who have hips and who are on the short-waisted side have problems fitting into LL Bean garments because of their cut. They are cut for long people with relatively narrow hips. Even petites (I'm 5'1") have waists that hit too low. In other brands, I usually take a small, sometimes a medium if I want more chest room. I bought this jacket in a medium and it's tight around the hips. I fear that if I get a large, the shoulders will be spaced too wide and the arms will be too long. Just another style fail for those of us who aren't built like the LL Bean model. It would be REALLY good if LL Bean offered some garments that are cut for the rest of us!

Loved the look. Too tight in the arms. Restricted arm movements. I usually wear petite large and have no problems. Had to return it.

This jacket is hard to get on and off. The sleeves are not lined and a shirt or turtleneck tends to get stuck in the sleeve. The large was too small to have anything under it and the XL is bulky

I wear a L in LLbean and that is what I bought. Very snug and compresses breasts when zipped with nothing but a t-shirt on. I know it is listed as slightly fitted but seems excessive. I like the pockets and the material is clearly windproof. Thicker than a man's jacket bought from L End with similar features. I am 5'4" and the sleeves run a tad long. I'm keeping it but not all I had hoped for.

The material of this windproof fleece jacket does block the wind. However, the jacket overall has several gaps where the wind gets in. 1. Zipper. There is a small wind baffle behind the zipper, but it could be bigger. 2. Sleeves. If the sleeves had knit cuffs, it would keep the wind from going up your arms. 3. Neck. The stand-up neck is stiff and loose-fitting, so the wind whistles right down there. Could use an inner collar. I have to wear a turtleneck under the jacket to keep the wind off my neck, or a scarf. Just FYI, the jacket material is not stretchy at all, if that makes a difference to you.

I replaced a windproof fleece jacket from LLBean with this one, because the jacket's pockets were way too small. These pockets are larger, but I was disappointed that the inside of the jacket didn't have the drop-in pockets one normally finds in fleece jackets. I may sew some in myself, but for the price, inner pockets would have been nice.
I like the drawstring at the bottom in case it gets really cold and windy, but I haven't had to try it out, yet. I'm hoping it's as windproof as reviews have said.
The jacket runs a little large.
I wish I could find a nice, windproof fleece jacket that could be dressed up or down. With the LLBean logo so prominent, it wouldn't look good with a dress or nice pants and blouse.
Maybe some day I'll find it all.

This jacket fits me a little big, but I like having the room. It's excellent. And windproof. And I love the color teal mixed with the blue in the chest pocket. Be nice if it had a little hood for those chili spring mornings walking

This is a failure due to no women's tall sizes. Other fleeces are provided in tall size, but not this one. This is becoming more common with LL Bean for both men and women's clothing.

I am still looking for a windproof fleece - I'm currently wearing an LL Bean version from circa 2005 - with burn holes from campfires. While I liked the jacket and it was a good fit - I did not like the "periwinkle" - when I got it seemed more like an "electric lavender".

I appreciate the wind protection from this jacket, but the inside material is just too stiff and scratchy for me. The jacket also seems to be a size or two too large. The cut of this jacket is very boxy and unflattering. I have tried 2 different colors hoping to overcome the unflattering fit. I prefer the softness and feminine fit of the sweater fleece jacket & don't feel like the wind resistance is enough of a difference for me to pick this jacket over the sweater fleece.

Well made, definitely wind proof, but made me sweat profusely all the time because it wasn't breathable.

I love L.L. Bean's fleece products, but this one fell short (just started a return). It is soft on the outside but has a flat polyester material on the inside. I suggest they do a fleece interior in the future - I want the same coziness against my skin. I never wore this but would have used it for casual every day wear.
