I do really like this jacket...but, I ordered a large so that there would be a bit of room for the sweater or vest that I often wear inside in cool weather. I need to take even the lightest sweater or flannel shirt off to comfortably slip into this jacket for an outdoor task. It is very comfortable with just a regular longsleeve shirt. Perfect for a walk in the woods.

It ran huge on me in XS which is my usual size. Wish they would make XXS in this.

This didn't really feel cozy. I wasn't a big fan of the texture. Petite small was too small.

I really wanted to love this jacket but just... didn't. The fit is very stiff. Not super cozy and comfortable. Will be returning.

The material is nice, the fit was not. I am 5' and the jacket is too long. That would not be a problem except I am hippy and when I sit it pulls. A nice double zipper would help with the utility. LLBean was always my "go to" for petite, but the cut/fit seems to be changing.

I returned it, inside material made it hard to put on and get off , very annoying! Not comfortable to wear, disappointed, looked nice on line

Women have hips. Why can't manufacturers either have a jacket hit at a different spot or give us a dual zipper so we can sit down?

Unfortunately the jacket wasn't for me. I needed a windproof jacket that I could wear over something more than a Tshirt. The next size would have been way too big.

Wish it kept me warmer. You used to have fleece that was made in the US that was both warmer and softer. Please bring it back!

It's difficult to slide my arms into the sleeves. Everything drags on the sleeves . Can only wear with very smooth blouses. The jacket is very nice& warm when I can get it on.

This is a great comfortable coat, but who are the petite sizes made for?? I am 5'1" and wear a PL. The sleeves were 4" too long and I had to pay $22 to have them hemmed so I could wear the jacket. I like the coat and opted to keep it, but would not order another one because of the additional cost for altering it.

WAY too big for me, even though I followed the size chart and bought a size I've purchased before. Having seen the item, I decided that a rain shell with fleece/down layered underneath would be just as good. I already have those, and was going to have to return this jacket anyway, so didn't replace it with a smaller size. Also kind of bulky to jam into a day pack.... A good idea with not-so-great execution.

This jacket is beautiful, both color and fabric. And is certainly windproof. I ordered a plus size and found the arms to be a slim cut. Why would you have a slimmer cut arm on a plus size garment??
The fit was just not right for me and I returned the item--sadly.

I ordered a white and a black jacket. I would have preferred the white, but didn't like the color or design. I kept the black one and like it very much.

+: 1. Style. 2. Warmth. -: 1. Arms are far too constricting and tight. 2. Material in the sleeves makes it incredibly hard to get the jacket on over any kind of long sleeve shirt and makes the fit uncomfortable. 3. A raglan sleeve design would also make for better maneuverability. 4. Medium (which is usually ok for layering) was snug.

I got the petite XL and it fit big. Too big. I am looking for a light weight, windproof jacket and I thought this would be it but it is also very stiff. I'm still undecided if I will keep the jacket or return.

It is not stretchy at all and a little stiff. Looks nice but I tend to grab my old jacket instead of this one.

Very stiff. Nothing like a polartec, which is no longer available.

Love the style, but runs really small and way over priced for a one layer fleece jacket. I sent back.

For reference, I am 5'10" and 204 lbs. Normally I wear size 1X everywhere else but I know Bean sizes run small, so I normally get 2X or 3X in Bean Sweaters or Jackets. The sleeves on this jacket are snug even though I only had a turtleneck t-shirt on. It would have been very tight if I tried to layer a cashmere sweater underneath. The shoulders and chest area were also smaller than expected. Now for the real problem,,, The body of the jacket down to the bottom hem was like wearing a bell-bottom type jacket. It was huge. I don't think sizing down would have solved this problem. It seems to be very nice fabric and looks pretty, but the sizing was like having a jacket with a 1X on top and 4X on the bottom. I returned this jacket.

Fit is not what I expected, needed to go up a size to accommodate my shoulders which made the waist looser than I like. An inside pocket would be nice. Love the color and styling.

Really nicely made but for the price I paid which is $100 it was not high quality. Very then material. If I didn't have a gift card I would not have purchased this for $100

This is a beautiful looking jacket and I really wanted to like it but after wearing it once on a brisk walk, it wasn't for me. The material is not a soft fleece and it feels very stiff to me. I loved the length of the jacket and the overall look but it was big in some areas, tighter in others and was restricting on my walk. I sized up but wouldn't be able to fit more than a tshirt underneath. Very happy with LLBean's return policy even though I took off the tags and wore it. I'll be back for something a bit softer for sure.

I loved the color, but the fit wasn't quite right for me. I didn't love the material. It wasn't soft enough. I like a soft, cozy fleece.
