It does break some breeze, not intended to be a warm jacket. Overall, it is as described.

I like this jacket. It fits as I thought it would, it does seem wind resistant, and it washed well. I wish it had a 2-way zipper, but that's not keeping me from njoying this jacket. I recommend it.

I purchased this last month in a size large, my normal size, and almost could not zip it up.

One of my beefs with women's jackets (and this is not just with LL Bean, but other brands as well) is they are too snug in the armpits and flare out at the bottom. This applies to this jacket although it is not too bad with this one. Once I wore it, the snug armpits stretched out some and it was more comfortable. I like the color, my phone fits in the chest pocket, side pockets are roomy.

I received this jacket a few days ago. It's too warm yet to test it out. I bought the blue color which is lovely. The material is soft. I am 5'61/2 inches tall and 117 pounds. I bought a PS because my arms are not that long, and I like a shorter length jacket. I usually buy RS. I don't like the orange zipper grips.on front chest pocket and waist pickets. Why orange ? Also the chest pocket would be more attractive made with same material. Why also is LL Bean Logo so prominently displayed? One reason I was always happy with LL Bean was the logo was displayed in a less obvious way. I like the idea that it is lightweights and not bulky. I would like to see the style in light grey.

I bought this jacket for cooler weather and for my Alaskan cruise. It keeps me warm on the ship deck when I don't need a down jacket for cold weather.

Bought this to travel to Scotland. Good weight, kept me warm with two thin layers underneath, or just one layer when chilly inside. Only wish it was cut with a cinch at the waist for some shape.

Purchased the Taupe Brown in PXL. Sleeves are a little long but that's normal. I love the chocolate milk color, and the blue accents were beautiful. But the ivory patch on the upper pocket is like a neon arrow pointing at one side of the chest and screaming LOOK AT ME! I thought it was a little strange in the photos, I couldn't do it IRL. So sad, it's so soft and warm!

Really blocks the wind. Fit is close to body and arms are almost too tight. Ordered my usual size medium.

Very warm and comfortable! The fit is nicely roomy in the arms and shoulders. Be warned, everything in a barn sticks to the black - order another color.

I normally wear a 2x in sweaters/hoodies for a baggy fit, but I decided to size up for this purchase since it'll be worn over shirts. The fit is a little odd; the chest/underarms/upper back areas are a bit snug, yet the waist/hips runs big. Because I sized up, I could understand the waist/hip area running a little big, but if I had purchased my normal size, I doubt I could have kept it. I can barely stretch my arms out in front of me without the back/underarms feeling super tight and that's with it being sized up. I have a small chest, too. It is comfortable enough to keep, however, and the quality of the material is very nice. I'm 5'4 and 220 lbs.

I like the jacket a lot but the upper arms are tight and the sleeves are a bit too long. A little disappointing.

Material is comfortable and warm. It's very fitted (5'2" and 130), so tighter at the hips/waist. Overall, I like it and did not return it but it is stiffer material and fitted so not flexible.

feels like there has been a change in the quality of windproofing

The size is more fitted than previous fleece jackets I've purchased. For a jacket a more relaxed fit is definitely more comfortable. Love the colors

This jacket is cozy, warm, and definitely stops the wind. The only deficit is that there is no hood.

Love this jacket! Happy I ordered a L so I can fit a sweater or fleece under it, definitely fitted.

I returned this item because the color was not right for me. I ordered the same item in navy blue. It fit great and felt very comfortable.

It is much too hot right now in the Central Valley of California to wear my new windproof fleece jacket. I will check it out when it starts to cool off. It looks terrific.

I ordered the only color left which was black. I did not care for the color on me nor did I like the material. I think it would have been plenty warm, but the jacket fit and looked like a sweater more than a jacket. I ordered another fleece jacket at the same time and liked it much better.

Love this jacket. It stands up to the increasing winds of Maine. The color is what I was hoping. The material is a little stiffer than I would like but as long as it keeps the wind out, I'm okay with it. Totally recommend anyone trying this jacket!

I absolutely loved the color Taupe Brown/Gray Birch and the fit of this jacket - however - the huge patch on the front just ruined the look in my opinion. If you made it all one color in the front it would have been perfect. I just could not wear it with that big cream colored patch.

This jacket is perfect for cool New England spring & fall weather. I normally wear a size small, however, I wanted to wear a sweater or sweatshirt underneath it, so I ordered a medium, which was perfect. The cut of the sleeves is somewhat narrow, so the bigger size helped. If you want to layer, going up a size will probably be needed.

The fit is unusual, tight in shoulders & chest, long arms even in a petite, wider at bottom. I tried on everything in the store from small to large in regular & petite. I'm 5'4", 134 lbs. petite medium was perfect without layers so got the petite large to add layers. It runs long which I like. Needs inside pockets and move the logo to a side bottom of jacket. It's warm without bulk & blocks the wind.

I like the jacket however fit is a little tight for a medium, I have bought many things in a medium and this did not seemed to be sized like the others
