Great little jacket! The fleece is soft and the windproof fabric makes it a perfect choice for cooler/windy days. Originally purchased my usual Small but exchanged it for a Medium. The Small fit nicely and the slim cut was flattering but there was no way to add a lightweight sweater or thermal underneath. The Medium is perfect and a good all-season jacket.

I really enjoy wearing this attractive jacket. However, as I don't enjoy wearing labels, I have removed the L L Bean label from the left front, and plan to embroider a design in that space.

Really excited about this jacket -- it's perfect for crisp spring (or fall) days that require an extra layer. The fabric is windproof and keeps you warm, but moves well. I'm very pleased with the sizing, too. The torso and arms run slightly longer than other jackets in this style, which I really like. I wear this for golf and it moves well enough to allow a full swing without any tugging or bunching. Pockets and zipper details are sharp, and the waffle-weave pattern is eye-catching. Exactly what I was hoping for when I purchased. Overall, would very much recommend.

I was so upset when my 15 year old classic fleece jacket from LLBean was stolen- i loved it and used it regularly. I wasn't sure the extra $ for the windproof version was worth it- but it was!!! Love these jackets, but this new one is still very light, sturdy, and with more wind protection. Love the front pocket that fits my large iphone.

I bought this for its wind protection which is super. I'm a walker and a hiker, so I'm out in all weather and this really blocks the wind without being heavy or thick. I have so many fleece jackets but they are useless in wind. I also like the slightly longer length for good coverage. I don't know why someone complained about that! The pockets are great! I bought a medium even though my new L.L. Bean winter jacket is a small, but this one runs a little small, or the winter jacket runs a little big. I do wish sizes could be more consistent. I actually love the crimson color which was on sale; it's classy and kind of neutral and soft, not loud.

I found this fleece very comfortable and cozy in the cold weather and windy season both. I took this light color just to add more color variety to my wardrobe and would strongly recommend to buy or purchase this jacket for the winter season walks and put door activities of the Northern California.

My husband got one of these jackets and wears it all the time. So I got one too and LOVE it! It's really classy looking and is great for wind protection.

I originally ordered this jacket in size M, but it just fit and wouldn't have accomodated a thicker fleece top or sweater underneath, so I exchanged for size L and it's perfect. This is an attractive, warm and well-made jacket that will get lots of use this winter! It does block the wind effectively and is toasty warm when worn over a winter layer such as fleece or thermal. The 3 pockets are generously sized and the interesting tone-on-tone checked pattern in the fabric looks sharp.

I have never reviewed anything before, but this is absolutely the most comfortable jacket I have ever had. It is perfect for 35-45 degrees.

This is a great jacket for the Arizona winter in the mornings and evenings. I can't take a lot of cold and this jacket is definitely windproof. Very nice looking jacket and would like one in another color, i ordered black and I love it.

I don't usually buy running clothes here but this fleece is an essential now! I wear this windproof fleece out running on 20-40 degree windy days with just a base layer underneath and I am just the right temperature working up a heavy sweat. The fleece wicks away the sweat but doesn't let the wind thru which usually makes my sweaty skin cold. If I'm walking the dog and not working up a sweat it's roomy enough to put another layer underneath to stay warm. It's the jacket I didn't know existed that fits my outdoor life!

I have been trying different windproof fleece types to go under my waterproof ski shell. Most are too heavy, not warm enough or too confining. This jacket is perfect. It is the warmest, most comfortable yet lightweight one I have tried. It also works great as a stand alone jacket. Better than other brands and even a better price. Highly recommend this jacket.

I love this jacket. It fits perfectly and is truly windproof. It's warm and cozy and the three zipped pockets are so convenient. I'd love to see the jacket in more colors.

I bought this to wear bike riding during winter. So far, I've worn it when the temps were low 40s, 8 MPH wind, and 75% humidity. I wore a thin long sleeved t-shirt underneath and this jacket was perfect! I was able to go 10 miles and I was not cold. I normally wear a large so that's what I ordered and it fit perfectly. I ordered the Navy.

Just moved back to Montana, out where the wind blows free... and chilly! This jacket provides light coverage when the temps are in the 30-50 range, but a chilly wind is blowing. Blocks the wind completely. Very comfy, a bit of stretch, and looks nice with jeans.

Bought this to wear under my winter coat on early morning walks. Was hooked by the windproof fleece concept. This is a lightweight jacket and has room for layering under. Love the color, feel, and overall construction. My husband loved it so much I bought him one too!

Finally a perfect light-weight jacket that is wind-proof but not clammy or noisy. It is surprisingly warm for the weight, and has a nice soft feel. Pockets are just where you need them.

I love this jacket. I got the dark blue, it's real pretty. It fits well. It's warmer than a fleece jacket I have that you can feel the cold air go through. This jacket is nice and warm and soft. I would recommend it to anyone. It's slimming too!

I already wore this jacket and it is indeed, windproof. I got the blue, which is quite dark but looks good. I like the style of this jacket.

I have waited forever for this jacket...I have an older version (I am guessing over 20 years old) that I still wear. The only serious wear on my old jacket is that the zipper pull ended up breaking and the pockets have small holes. Unbelievable to me that even the elbows have NOT worn through. I was so excited for this jacket and I feel like it's going to be a big hit. It's super comfortable...a little more fitted and feminine than my old style. In addition, I like the windproof because it's super warm which is important when living in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. It already feels like an old friend. If you're on the fence...go for it!!!

I am beyond impressed with this jacket. I live in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan where it can get very cold and windy. This jacket looks great, but is also super functional. It keeps me warm on the windiest of days when I hike. It runs true to size and I am especially pleased that the sleeves are plenty long since I am tall. I like the top zip pocket. My only suggestion would be to add an inside zip pocket too. I would definitely highly recommend this jacket. Two thumbs up!

Great Fit - this fleece is a bit longer than the other LL Bean fleeces so being on the tall side the waist sits at my natural waist. Great for anyone with wider shoulderrs. Slightly fitted so it is very flattering.
