It's not genuine chamois. It's a cotton flannel, not what I wanted.

I have worn Women's Heritage Chamois Shirts for years and they always fit perfectly (I am 5'4", of average weight). I ordered two of these shirts to replace two worn out shirts and the new ones don't fit. The sleeves hang longer than the shirts I own, and around the middle the new shirts are huge. I have returned them but hardly know what I will do. I can't imagine a small will fit, as the shoulders on the new shirts were only a tiny bit wider than those on the old shirts. The ID number of this shirt is not the same as the ID of my other shirts, and the styling is different. Searching for my old ID of 503744 took me to my old style "Womens's Heritage Chamois Shirt" but it is only available in dark olive. L. L. Bean, why are you changing a perfectly good style and fit? Is there any hope the old sizing will return? FYI, the shirts are imported but the description does not say from what country. Looking at the tags, I've observed that the best material (softest over time) comes from El Salvador. The ones from Nicaragua and Sri Lanka have not worn as well.

Never softened, even after several washes on gentle, plus wrinkles so badly when wearing it for such a short time. I gave it away.

What happened to the chamois shirts I've loved for so long? This new one looked terrible after one wash: "pilled" up and looks like I've had it for years! Quality has gone down hill; so disappointing.

The first shirt I received had a defective pocket flap.Returned for exchange.On the second shirt the pockets were sewn on the shirt unevenly.Returned for refund.Poor quality control. Disappointing!

The fabric is not like it use to be nor are the buttons. Made cheaply. This shirt runs very very small.

I'm so bummed this style is changed this year from last years style. Bring back 2021 version with the nice touches: Brown buttons, chambray lining.
