The fabric is stiff. Will it soften after multiple washes?

I like the warm fabric and the fit. But the pocket flaps don't match in shape. Still trying to decide whether to keep it or not. At this price it shouldn't be an "irregular".

Does not run true to size. Order at least one size up.

Great to find a chamois shirt for women! Beautiful color and warm chamois! XS fits me well at 5' 3" 115lbs. Really disappointed that after only one wear and wash the fabric is pilling making the shirt look old.

I bought this shirt in my usual LL Bean size (Large), but it was too small - Tight across the chest, and too short. And the sleeves were too long. I had to send it back.

They look great, and were purchased as Christmas gifts for 2022 so any other review not available at this time

I was excited to see to see the Chamois Shirt available in plus sizes. I had totally worn one out and outgrew a second. Unfortunately I had to return due to size and cut issues. I ordered my usual size 2X. The shirt ran small especially considering that a relaxed fit would be expected for this style. The fit was strange - tight across the shoulders probably due to sleeves that are skinny for a plus size; but slightly baggy in the sides of the chest probably due to bust darts. Quality is inferior compared to my old shirt - front and sleeve plackets, cuffs, and buttons are all less substantial.

The quality of the fabric is a problem. The shirt looks ratty-pilly, thin and worn looking, after just a few wears. I've been wearing these for years, have several older versions in my closet, and the comparison is startling. In an environment where we need to be conscious about our consumption, this shirt is going the wrong way. Yes, it is a bit small. And the front pockets are unnecessary decoration for boobs.

The quality of the chamois material is inferior, especially for the price. The shirt was shorter than previous ones and cut was irregular.

I bought 2 of these shirts as all my flannel is from LLBean. When I first got it it felt stiff but I figured a washing would soften them up. Well it didn't and the shoulder seam makes me look like a foot ball player. I am donating them as I find them uncomfortable

Love the color and fit. Unfortunately, the chest pockets are not set in place correctly. One is 1/2" lower than the other.

Loved it until I washed it sleeves got shorter and piling on the material

The fabric is not true chamois, it tries to look like it but is not close enough to pass.

I was very unhappy with the design of this shirt. It is boxy and unfeminine in a way that makes it look homely. It is stiff and scratchy. Perhaps after years of washing, it could soften. The material is not cheap, but not supple. I returned it.

Great shirt, great color....But, yet AGAIN: Fit is inconsistent. I have 3 other L Bean Chamois shirts in 2 sizes (L & XL). XL too large; L a bit big but still very comfortable/do-able. Ordered L/Pet. to accommodate length preference. Unfortunately, this one is going back. Arm & shirt length both perfect; however, width is 1.5" NARROWER than my regular/large chamois. Disappointing.

It shrinks when it is washed and dried. Maybe if I hadn't put it in the dryer it would still button.

Why can't you tell us how LONG the shirts are. WE NEED TO KNOW

I have worn only a couple of times. I hand washed in cool water and line dried and the fabric is very pilled. This is disappointing as it looks old and worn. I would have expected better quality for the price. Also the color (washed orchid) looks very different from the image online. It is much darker and more of a mauve than the pink depicted.

The shirt was noted as "new". I've found that a Bean remake of one of their classics isn't good news. I have several of their chamois shirts all same size. This one didn't fit as wellreturned it.

I would love to say how happy I am with this shirt but it arrived yesterday, it immediately smelled up my house. I washed it - FIVE times!! Different detergents, vinegar, hung outside. Still, the heavy smell of mold/mildew makes me start coughing every time I get near it. Same issue with my husbands flannel that arrived yesterday, but not as strong.

Runs small. My father has worn these shirts for years. I was excited to see them in plus, but they're very narrow and not cut for true plus. It felt like juniors extended sizing. Arms were tight and no way to button. I hope improvements happen.

Too tight of a fit. Fabric is thick with no give. I love the color but with it fit better.

Bought my standard size - 2X. Returned shirt. Body was several sizes too small, upper arms were tight and sleeves were too long. Seemed like it was either defective construction or the size was labeled incorrectly.

Disappointed. I needed a light blue shacket, not a dark blue. This was supposed to be a gift. Giftee specifically asked for a light blue. Peacock blue is not as pictured. It's much darker. Wanted this to really work bc of friendly customer service when ordereding.

The chamois shirt is being returned. The collar was sewn on wrong, causing one collar point to be very noticeably shorter than the other. The material was flimsy. This shirt wasn't up to the standards I expect from L.L. Bean.
