Great Jacket! Light jacket and protects you from the cold.

Finally a winter Jacket that fits. Love the burgundy color.

Such a beautiful coat. I have wanted this coat for a couple of years, and I finally purchased it. I initially bought a size small, I am a typical petite 4 to 6, and the small was a little roomy - even with a medium layer underneath. So I purchased an extra small, once available, and it fit perfect. I was still able to add a layer underneath without difficulty. And it fit like a glove. I have not worn it in deep negative temperatures yet, but it is everything the description says it is from what I can tell. It even has a hidden zippered pocket in the pockets. I'm not sure if it says that in the description, but when I found it, I thought it was great. Yes like the other reviews have said the pockets are not very deep, but I didn't find it to be a dealbreaker. The inside waste cord is nice to have, if you have purchased a larger size and want to feel more snug in it, but if you size down and get the one that fits you well, you will not need to use that adjustment as much. The first one I purchased was navy, and the second one I purchased was burgundy, and both of the colors were beautiful in person. I am most grateful for how light and packable it is. I find the price point is competitive for what you get. Thank you L.L. Bean.

It's lightweight and very warm, and most important to me, it comes in petite sizes. Waist can be adjusted smaller, if needed. It kept me warm while walking my dog in the winter!

Warm, w hidden pockets, hood fits great usually wear xl-1x. This is 1x perfect w sweater or without. was warm at -7

Bought this jacket to wear to yoga class. I am 5ft10in and weight 143lbs. I found the size small fit better then medium. Coverage is very good when wearing leggings. Very happy with purchase!

Very warm and comfy.. maybe a bit too warm for this winter. My only complaint is that the snaps are very hard to close. I hope this gets easier with wear.

I bought the coat in the olive first and then added the sleeved vest to go underneath for wearing in deep cold. The coat only is so nice and warm and light weight here in Northern Minnesota. I was so please and surprised with this great product. Well made and the LLBean outstanding quality. You would love it.

For me, this is the perfect down parka. I already had the shorter version, but this extreme winter I got tired of a frozen butt so I purchased this longer version. The length is perfect and oh, what a difference it makes when I have to potty the dogs in subfreezing temps... I am now toasty warm!! It has a flattering fit, but plenty of room to wear a sweatshirt or sweater underneath. I like the fact the exterior pockets are now behind the down insulation... much warmer than the ones in the jacket version. I also love the hood and how sleek it is attached. I seriously can't say enough how much I love this parka! Great quality and a fraction of the cost of many popular brands.

This coat is great! It's kept me warm (although I haven't worn it in temps below 40 yet). I got the Gray Birch color and I would say it's true to the picture shown here. I'm 5'4", 135 lbs and the regular small fits great except for when I put the hood up. You can tell the ideal height for this coat is probably a little taller because the hood doesn't sit on my head quite right but I don't really care - I'll definitely have room to wear a beanie if needed. You can cinch the waist tighter if you want and the pockets are great! I'm not really sure how to describe them other than you essentially have dual layered pockets - the basic pocket if you undo the snaps and then there's also a zippered pocket right behind it (and each one is fleece lined). If you're a mom, you know pockets are crucial. Love this coat!

I love my women's Mountain Classic Coat. The length is good. I like the fit. The hood comes in handy as I work at a school and do bus and recess duty. The hood snaps off for cleaning. Sometimes I need to make sure all the snaps are snapped. I love it.

I'm very happy with this coat. It's warm but lightweight. It zips and snaps which kept out wind when I was snow blowing. I like the zipper area in the pockets where I can put my phone or keys and don't have to be concerned about loosing them and still have pockets for my hands.

I love this coat. Very warm and comfortable. Only downside it took practice to zip up the zipper on the first try. Very frustrating at first.

Stunning jacket that is perfect for the great north! I am 145lbs and 5'2" and got the petitie medium so I can layer on colder days. Only con is the outside pockets are not angled or very deep so things easily fall out.

I was looking for a longer warm coat. Harder task than anticipated. They clearly don't consider curves when designing coats for women. The sales associate in CT was really great helping me out. We finally landed on this one. I was able to zip it over my hips without looking foolish up by my shoulders. It's good looking and very warm. Exactly what I needed.

My go to coat when it's really cold out. Comfortable, warm and looks great. Highly recommend it. Runs try to size.
