I was set to love, love, love these pants, but they don't fit me--too big. I have a pair of the original 1912 Sweatpants (with the gather at the ankles), regular size, and they fit just fine. I was so disappointed that the straight leg regular was too large. I had to send them back. I hope you will consider making a petite version of the 1912 Straight Leg! I am 5'2" and weigh 130 pounds.

Nice fabric but too "hippy" for my slim body. Returned them.

This review is for the 1912 sweatpants with lining. Please save yourself your money and your time, don't purchase these. What they did is this: the maker took the sweatpants that have no lining and just inserted lining! They didn't make any allowance for the extra inside bit now. These sweats are tight fitting in the waist/hip area, so much so that they are very uncomfortable. The leg bit becomes EXTRA roomy with wear, such as they could house another leg! Poorly designed and executed. So disappointing because here in upstate NY we could really use warm sweatpants...these are not it!

Well made garment. I wish they made a version with a tighter waist and without the drawstring.

I have purchased these sweatpants before. The length is not the same. Way too short on both grey and blue. Returned

I had decided to go ahead and spend the money on these "LLBean quality" sweatpants and at first really liked them. But after carefully washing them and even hanging them up to dry they were full of nubs and the knees are saggy. I am so disappointed.

I generally buy pants in a size 2X but LL bean runs small so I tried the 3X, still too small. I couldn't even get it to my waist. What happened to LL Bean quality?

Waist had almost no stretch. If i had not taken tags off, I would have sent these back. My other pants in this same style fit fine but not this pair.

I was disappointed with this purchase and that's unusual for any LLBean purchase. I always buy a 1X in LLBean sweatpants and have several other pair of this style. The waist on this pair did not stretch like it should and as my other pairs. In fact, there was so little give that they was difficult to get on. they fit like they were a smaller size and had been marked wrong. If I had not already taken the tags off, I would have returned them.

I am 5'8' and weigh 155 lbs. I usually wear a 6 or an 8 but the reviews said to size up so I got a Medium which is supposed to be 10-12. These pants are so strange! The legs are very short and for a Medium and are like high waters and they were super tight throughout the thigh. I would not recommend.

Cut too short, material doesn't hold its shape and has no drape. Just a sweat pant. I expected better.

I LOVED these when I wore them prior to washing. They were soft, warm and very comfortable. I like my clothing on the looser side and these pants were perfect. Then I washed them - in cold water (like I always use) and hung to dry. The tag says they can be dried on low heat but I never dry my tops or pants. I hang to dry and then, when items are dry, I put them in the drier on low for 5 minutes to soften them. So that's what I did with these pants. I put them on and they had shrunk! They are tighter and shorter. I will not wear them again because they are uncomfortable. I am so disappointed. They were not cheap but I bought them because they fit exactly right and were so comfortable. I thought I'd wear them forever.

I own 6 pairs of these & love them. I was so disappointed that these are cut differently. They are too tight across the back & sides, & the pockets pull unattractively. I don't know if I can return them since I washed them before wearing them, as I assumed they would fit since I already have so many pairs in the same size that fit great.

I'm 5'3" and weigh 105 lbs. I purchased the small petite sweatpants in charcoal gray to wear at home. The fabric is very nice and the pants are well made. However, they are too short and absolutely huge! They would easily fit someone weighing 150 lbs. If you're considering buying these, size down.

I bought these for my mom. They were great on the first wear - very comfy, and the length hit the top of the shoe. They were washed on the Cold/Dark cycle, and dried on Delicate/Low. After two washes they shrank so much they showed over two inches of sock, and my mother won't wear them again - will have to return. Besides the length, they look very nice - disappointed they shrank so drastically. (Only shrinkage seems to be to length, not width.)

The quality of these sweatpants is fine if you have very short legs. Mens sweatpants have a choice of 3 to 4 inseams, however womens have exactly {1} ONE! .Hello manufacturers, women need a choice of inseams also. We are not all the same height!

SINCE I'M SMALL, I KNOW I HAVE TO HEM ANY PANT IN REGULAR LENGTH. DESCRIPTION SAYS NARROWER IN HIPS, ETC. AND THE HIP PART WAS HUGE. HOPE WHEN PETITE COMES OUT IN FALL, THEY WILL TRIM HIP AREA.

XS too large, as has been since Bean started increasing the sizes to suit the "larger customers". The quality is also not as in the past, not enough COTTON and too much of the "cheaper fabrics".

I ordered these sweats hoping they'd be a good match for the flannel lined zip up sweat shirt which I love. Unfortunately, the fit isn't right for me- the sweats are too high waisted for me so I returned.

These used to be great sweat pants (this is my fourth pair) but they removed the back pockets on the latest edition where I always put my cell phone. I am extremely disappointed. I guess they save a dollar a pair in production which I would willingly pay.
