This was the perfect fit for a tall, very slim 18 year old.

So I tested the coat this morning when it was below 30 degrees with the wind chill. Only had on a short sleeve T-shirt and felt very warm. No complaints here. As mentioned, I wish the snaps clicked shut easier. The zipper is also a little stiff but would rather have it firm instead of loose.

I bought this for my son for Christmas. He's 5'10 and about 145 lbs. I bought the large. He said it fit well and he had a sweatshirt underneath. He's been having trouble finding a warm jacket. This fits the bill.

To my joy, the coat is not too snug with ample room for a bulky sweatshirt or a second layer. Have not tested it yet in sub freezing temps. Zipper works well, a little firm. Buttons take a bit of pressure to snap but do eventually. Hood has great coverage. More after the temps fall ...

Everything is as posted to purchase, made well, warm, fits is snug on arms. Downside, hood snaps are small and can be difficult to fasten again. Even so, I would recommend this coat.

Needed a warm coat for light activity in cold weather and this is it. Good loft, fits great and kept me warm standing on a -7 deg night.

Great Down Jacket. I love the weight of the jacket and the pockets and how it keeps me warm. I do not use the hood but you can use it without the hood and it is still a great warm coat.

I love the fit of the medium tall. My boyfriend is tall and thin and LL Bean is his favorite place to get clothes because everything fits him so well, especially the sleeve length. This jacket is warm and attractive. It is very good quality and he was quite happy to receive it as a gift.

Perfect combination of function, warmth and style! I purchased this in dark barley one size down and my daughter loves it! Keeps her warm in the Syracuse cold.

Just the coat for a VERMONT winter. Good zipper with snaps, warm hood, generous down for those low temperatures.

Great coat... warm. When first wearing its tight on the arms but soon enough loosens to the perfect fit. Hood is really warm and extra length is nice but not too long to hinder movement. Would love to see more pockets on the side to place gloves and hat. (Large mesh net). Outside pockets (2) are soft and very warm. Quality is great heavy zippers and hood attaches with snapes and Velcro at the end to ensure a good hold.

This parka meets all my expectations. Not only is it warm and comfortable, it looks as good with jeans as with khakis. My wife noticed there was more down in the sleeves of this parka than in her down parka from your competition.

Bought this for my husband. He loves it. Fits great and keeps him nice and warm I have a down jacket from L L Bean and love mine so I knew this was a good option for him. I was right!

Needed a big boy coat and got this one. Excellent coat. Soft and warm. I feel like I finally made it inside of a pillow. When my kids run and hug me this coat also helps with the impact. The NFL should include this inside of their helmets and CTE lawsuits would drop. I think I'm going to also get this coat in the rust color. Leon Leonwood always delivers.

This Parka is an improvement over my earlier LL Bean Down Parka. The split zipper allows the bottom to be opened while closed at the top I am 6 ft 3 inches and the XXL was the correct fit. The quality was superior to many much more expensive brands . I should note that I still wear my d one after 5 years and keep the new one when I need to look more spiffy.

Love the coat. Warm, cozy, light weight, easy to move in to name a few positives. Only wish there was an upper pocket for a cell phone. Maybe in the next edition.

I bought this for my 93 year old father, who's always cold. He LOVES this jacket! It fits well, he loves the two way zipper, and the hood. He throws this over himself for a blanket when he naps. He loves it. I'm hoping to find a pair of equally warm gloves to get him for Christmas.

Really like. Tried it a few days ago when cold and windy and it did keep me warm while walking the dog.

Love the fit and warmth. The hood is the best pet. Keeps my head and ears warm without the need of a hat!
