Bought this sweater for my husband. LLBean online was out so I used the reserve option for store in Maine. Absolutely wonderful experience, as usual, and the sweater vest is wonderful. Fits him perfectly and the pockets are super warm and toasty for his hands while walking our dog in the cold Western North Carolina Mountains. Thank you LLBEAN for consistently being fantastic for the last 50 years of our family being customers and here's to 50 more!

Fits well. Given my build, a medium would be too tight, so I wear a large. Very warm on a cold winter's day. Well made. I purchased the brown waterfowl vest previously and it has served me well. Absolutely no complaints. Would certainly recommend this.

I have three of these in different colors. my second winter with almost everyday use. they look good and you cannot wear them out.

Keeps you warm and able to be flexible when working in cold weather. Only complaint is it's hard to find in stock. Purchased two of them and would recommend highly.

This was a Christmas present for my husband and a very successful one too! He put it on and wore it the rest of the day after opening the package. He was quite happy with the quality of the vest, its color and trim and the way it fit. I am hoping to buy him another when a charcoal type color comes in stock.

My father absolutely loves this vest that we bought him for Christmas. He says it is super comfortable, warm, good looking, and he really likes the deep pockets. He let us know a few times how much he loves it.

This vest is very versatile. I bought it to wear around the house, but I also wear it for warmth under foul weather gear and when it's mild as outerwear to run errands or work in the yard. The pockets are serviceable if not rugged, and the zipper is more practical than buttons, though it gives it a very casual appearance.

Warm and stylish. My wife loves it, and so do I.

This vest is very cozy and comfortable, also warm. The fit is very good There are two minor problems: The zipper is difficult to get started. The collar sticks up a bit. I recommend it very highly

Very nice sweater. I have the blue and think it looks better than in the photos and have had compliments. Fits great and true. Very comfy, soft pockets to warm my hands. Not overly warm. I would call it mid-weight.

This wool vest is excellent. Fit is good, it's well made and comfortable. I wanted it as a more polished alternative to a fleece vest. Despite it being styled for the field, it looks good under a jacket or by itself to go out to dinner or to a friend's house. Highly recommended.

The first day I wore this it was about 55, with a thin shirt underneath and I was completely comfortable. I never got too hot, it was just perfect. I also like the feel and weight of this vest. I'm considering ordering another in a different color. It is perfect.

Perfect weight for layering ! Nice and warm! Looks great too.

You would think a wool zip-up sweater would be easy to obtain but I found it difficult. - This is my 2nd one, the first lasted a decade. - I wear it in Dec and Jan under my hunting coat for all day warmth in the cold. - If I could change one thing on it, I would have a tighter knit so it would snag less and added to the durability. - Overall I would give it high marks for warmth and the price is excellent for what you get. As a person who often wears a vest, and as most are "outdoor polytech casual" -- I love this quality, ribbed, wool, dressy vest that can be worn more formally. It's properly tailored, the high neck is not a collar per se yet keeps the neck warm, the inside of the pockets are silky smooth to your hands!

Got it for times a sports jacket & tie were too much. Works for my business attire casual times. Vest configuration warms where needed & arms can move freely.

I've been looking at this sweater vest for a couple of years and wife finally bought it for me, for Christmas. Might have been my best Christmas present this year. I wear it all the time and love it. I've been a LL Bean customer for 50 years and this product, like ALL the rest I've used over the years, is excellent quality.
