Warm and cozy, and very good quality. A high collar.

Well made, rugged, comfortable. This is my third Waterfowl Vest. I've owned the other remaining one for 12-15 years and worn it frequently. The wool body is in great shape but the suede-like fabric trim shows significant wear around the collar.

It's exceptionally warm, and its classical look and styling fit in almost anywhere.

It's handsome and incredibly warm. It could be dressed up, if anybody is socializing these days, but it is also excellent for outdoor yardwork and even bicycling.

Size large fit is good. I'm 6 feet and 200 pounds. It provides an extra layer of warmth on cold Nebraska fall and winter days.

Quite dense, heavy wool (yes, the vest is actually fairly heavy considering it is a vest). Seems to be of very good quality. Very tight weave, so might not breath quite as good as a looser weave, but then again should be warmer. Unlike some other reviews I did not have any problems with the zipper - works great. Also, the collar is a bit tall, but does not bother me (and I really don't like things rubbing on my neck). I also found, unlike some other reviewers, that you can easily fold it down to make more or less a standard collar. Maybe they changed the design? One minor quibble - the collar material on the inside (which becomes the outside if you fold it over), is like a velour. I wonder how long this will stay good looking? Time will tell. But overall a very nice high quality garment. I am 5-8, 150 pound male, and a M just fits me - any smaller and it would be too small. But L would probably be too large.

Good fit. Looks good. Feels good (I'm wearing it now). Recommended (even though I don't shoot waterfowl). I'm 5'10'' and large fits well.

I like it. This is my second - the first is still in use for daily wear, this is my new one for "dress up" occasions. Very comfortable, durable, and good looking. With this one I had to be patient - waited about six months for the backorder to fill. Luckily it came just in time for fall weather. Hurray.

A very comfortable vest that is warm and fits well. I hunt with a longbow on the ground and need clothing that is totally silent. Wool is all I wear. I like vests as they keep my arms unencumbered with a traditional bow. The green color blends in well, but deer are colorblind anyways. Play the wind, sit still, and be warm with wool work for me and my wife. Sat with her last evening, with both of us wearing these vests, and watched her arrow her first buck.

This merino wool vest is one of the best products in the LL Bean catalogue. It will definitely keep you warm in cold climates. This is the second one I've purchased in a different color.

I've purchased two of these sweater vests for my husband. They are his go to sweaters when it's chilly out. I also bought one for my dad. They both love them. Wish you would make them in another color - maroon would be nice.

I just bought my second vest and I also own the sweater. The vest is extremely comfortable ,exceptional quality and versatile to use under a coat or reading in your favorite chair. I continue to tell everyone how much I love the vests.
