I've wanted this for years. It's just how I imagined it.

Comfortable, warm, sleek, warm pockets, nice color.

First off I'm a woman who bought this for myself since they don't offer a women's version. I watched and waited for it to go on sale and the Navy in XS finally did. The quality is SUPERB! And although the XS is still a tad "boxy" for my small size the wool is thick and lovely and too nice to send back. THEN I put my hands in the pockets and thought I'd died and gone to heaven!! The coziest fleece lined pockets!!! PLEASE LL Bean make this in a women's version. I LOVE this vest!!!

Beautiful vest!! Very well constructed and soft for such a heavier weight wool. And the pockets have a wonderful fleece lining that's ultra soft and cozy. I am a woman 5'7, 128 lbs and I ordered a mens small. They didn't make this in a woman's version. The arm holes are a little too big (it's meant for a man) but it's so soft and cozy and the pockets lining sold me on keeping it.

This vest is two steps up from Bean's fleece version. Tremendously warm with very good workmanship. What I like best about it is the lined collar which keeps your neck away from the sturdier wool fibers. Pockets are lined also. I liked it so much I bought 4 more this year for Christmas presents. Good job LL Bean.

The vest is very warm, comfortable and well-made. It kept me warm in below zero weather.

Very well made and comfortable. True to size and the color seems to go with many outfits. The pockets are nice with fleece and the collar is also comfortable and warm. This can be used as a dressed up vest for work or a casual weekend vest with a flannel.

Adds warmth without bulk. Being of merino wool, it still insulates if wet. Looks good, hangs well.

This vest is first class in construction and made of soft knitting. It's a nice change from my usual vests. And, it was a wonderful gift to receive on my birthday.
