Sleeve length perfect with cuffs turned back as shown in photo. Not as heavy as Bean's Norwegian wool sweater (that I can't find in their offerings at the time of this review, so I cannot reference it any more precisely.) We'll see if the 100% cotton elbow patches hold up. Why no poly-cotton blend on this high-abrasion area, I have no idea.

I bought this for my husband as a Christmas gift in black size medium. It's true to size and fit him great. He said it is a little itchy so he wore a long sleeve under it, but over time the itchiness should go away. Overall seems like a great quality product to wear for all sorts of occasions.

Sizing tip. I'm 6', 185#, shirt neck 18", sleeve 34", natural normal build. I ordered a large and the fit is just right, not too tight not baggy, length is just a little below waist. Quality is very good and wearing it feels good. A good value for the price.

After two wash and dry cycles by itself because it naturally sheds lots of fibers, you are good to go with a warm comfortable sweater for life. I now consider these sweaters one of THE best gifts you can give someone. I typically order one size over, which seems to work.

I have a number of these sweaters. They are warm, functional, and easy to wear. I usually layer when I am wearing this, so the wool is not scratchy for me. I wear this in place of a coat, all winter. The sweater wears well, love the colors, and the sizing is spot on. I bought these for my whole family for our winter rambles. Rave reviews all around.

This sweater is very good looking. The course knit wool is heavy and warm, and the patches make it durable and add to the aesthetics. I'm 5' 11" and weigh 195 and I ordered a large. It fits well, i can wear with just a t-shirt underneath or it has enough room to add a layer underneath

I have purchased several of these sweaters the last 10 years or so and are hard to find better quality for the price.

Fit was true to size (5'10" 175 lbs), nicely made. Very warm. Color was a little off from what was shown in online picture but happy with it.
