I really really love this sweater. Its heavy weight and totally warm enough to be all you will need. I like a long sleeve T underneath because it will itch a little otherwise. If its cooler get a poly-prop or a heavier one and that's perfect. I went on a 6 day sailing trip in Maine at the end of September and this sweater and the Ripstop trail pants worked perfectly. Warm when wet, dried quickly, and a really good look together too. 5'9", 200 (more stomach than muscles ) and it fit great with plenty of room

Great sweater for those colder days. Have to wear with a long sleeve t-shirt. Wool makes me itchy.

This sweater is great for super-cold days in one of the windiest places on earth. Put a cotton mock-turtleneck under this sweater (unless you love the feel of good old wool, worsted merino it ain't), grab a pair of gloves and you are good to go. It has a nice, tight woolen weave and should wear like iron. Pretty stylish and can't be confused with a girly sweater your mother bought you. I like how it fits at the bottom with no hem-roomy. I suggest wearing a lighter cotton sweater on the days it will hit 50. From 15 degrees on up, you don't even need a jacket.

Have had trouble finding this type of sweater outside of EU. Particularly in real wool. I found it a bit difficult to guage from the sizing chart as I am in between small and med. I am assuming it may shrink a bit, which will be perfect. Otherwise, great sweater, I am sure that it will keep me toasty on the slopes or after a fall or winter kiting session.

This is the perfect out door sweater for New England out door activities. Great for a country walk, cross country skiing or chopping wood. Warm under a shell and adjustable when it's time to vent.

Everyone looks great in these sweaters. Several guys of various sizes I know have these and enjoy how well they wear and fit. Really well constructed.

Recently received my tall xl sable colored Henley Commando Sweater. It is great. Length is perfect, I'm 6'1" and 240 lb. Sweater is very warm and comfortable. This wool sweater is a little "itchy" because it's new, but one or two washings should soften it up just fine. If you don't like the wool feeling, but want the warmth, you might try a long sleeve T shirt or turtlenece underneath. This is a well-made garment, and I look forward to many years of use from it. Thanks. Would highly recommend.

Now that it's spring and not cold enough for my leather bomber jacket, I've taken to wearing my new Henley commando sweater. It looks and feels great, and I couldn't be more pleased. I haven't worn it enough yet to know how it will hold up, but it seems pretty stout, so I expect good results

The commando sweater is even more comfortable and warmer then the one the Navy issued me. It fits perfectly and the cloth covering on the arms and shoulds should make it last longer.

Very nice product. I was disappointed the buttons needed to be reattached. I ended up taking in to my local dry cleaners shop to have the buttons all reattached securely. It happened at separate occasions which I was lucky enough to not lose any. The feel and look are great though.

He ended up getting it in 2 colors but he basically has to fold the waist under a bunch. My husband is 6'2". We got the *regular*! Idk who would need the long!!?! Overall nice look though.

Great sweater, but they really mean SLIM cut. It fits fine, but very difficult to layer over a shirt due to tight sleeves. Order up a size to layer properly

Warm, comfortable, good looking! Fits well, looks great, and keeps me warm. It is wool so definitely wear something underneath it!

Everything expected when purchased. Have yet to try it in cold weather under outer garment. Yet to be cleaned. A little expensive but hoping it is worth it after a little more experience.

The quality of the sweater I received is very good, although a little scratchy and longer than I expected. I purposely ordered it a size larger because the sweaters I ordered last year were too tight, however, while the sleeves are proper length, the hem of the sweater reaches my thighs. Hopefully it will shrink to fit after a couple more washes.

The sweater itself was nice, and a little tighter than expected (ordered a M vs L). Material was soft and felt like it could be very comfortable, but ultimately just didn't like how it looked and wife gave it a thumbs down.

Very warm and well made. Took away one star because the collar is a bit of an awkward size -- not big enough to easily roll down but feels just a bit "intrusive" when laying flat.

Great fit and comfort, but the color did not really match its name or the picture in the catalog. It was somewhat more brown than expected...but still perfectly acceptable.

Good quality, but I really wanted the blue one with a full zipper. I was told it was out of stock until July.
