Very warm and comfortable! My go to outdoor sweater

I bought this terrific sweater on impulse, and it's already become my favorite. It's warm, handsome, well-constructed, fits great--and it draws compliments from friends and strangers. I got one as a birthday gift for my son and he loves his, too. My only complaint is that when I logged in to buy another one, the size and colors I wanted were gone. :-( I can't wait to buy another one next season!

I remember a similar sweater that I was issued in the Navy back in the 1970s. It kept me warm when I was stationed at Great Lakes. Your sweater is a vast improvement! It is my favourite when the weather is frigid. Magnificent!

Warm and toasty sweater that has style and versatility. You can put a button down under it for a dressier look, a t-shirt for meeting up with friends or a turtleneck for hiking outdoors. The sweater is well made and does not pull.

I am sensitive to wool so I always wear something long sleeve under this (it's actually pretty soft but it's just me). Bar none this is the sweater I wear when it is going to be chilly. There is something about it. Maybe the ribs. I don't know. But it always keeps me warm.

I still have the first LLB Commando sweater I bought in college. It was made in Great Britain, which the new ones are not, but the quality will not disappoint you. Highly recommended.

Ordered this for my tall, husky son. It fits him perfectly. He wore it out in 35 degrees and no coat for about an hour and didn't freeze. Beautiful and well-made sweater!

A genuinely good-looking but functional garment. The Commando sweater fits comfortably by conforming to your body for a trim appearance retaining warmth.

I was looking for a replacement for an old military sweater that had become a popular style in the middle 1900s. They were a tight wool weave, were warm, and wore like iron. This looked right. And, It Was!! It is warm, fits close but not tight and the sleeves, which arrived turned up, were just the correct length.

I retired from the US Army and I will but almost anything that is Olive drab in color. When I came across this sweater in the catalog, I had to have it. I wore it to work for the first time today because it is a snowy day. It was cozy, fit great (I'm 6'1" and 201 lbs and wearing XL Tall), and reflected my military roots.
