This is my second pair of Wicked Good slippers. I purchased the first pair about 8 years ago and also bought a pair for my wife.
Mine eventually wore out but admittedly, I treated them rough wearing them in and outdoors and washing and drying them several times. Their durability and comfort inspired me to buy a new pair.
The slippers arrived and immediately out of the box, I noticed a strong odor.
The next morning, my wife approached me and stated she thought something died under the house or in the walls. Turns out, it was my slippers that smelled like dead animals or a skunk. It's been 3 weeks and they still stink. Not like hold them to your nose and you can smell them stink but a room filling odor.
I was hoping the odor would go away but it looks like I will have to return these and search for something else.

I bought two pair of the Wicked Good slippers - one for my husband and one for myself. One week later, while pulling on the right slipper, half of the heel piece ripped away from the seam. Actually, to be accurate it was the LEATHER that gave way, not the stitches, which means that the shearling was split much too thin to be used in footwear. Not the sort of shoddy workmanship/quality control I'd expect from L.L. Bean. I'll be calling for either a refund or replacement with a sturdier product.

I purchased these slippers for use in FLORIDA. they were Never worn outside, In less than 8 months the seam were the sole was stitched to the upper tore through the very thin strip of leather. Mind you that this was in FLORIDA. They were probably worn less than 1 month total since this warm slippers are seldom called for. Although this may have been a singular product problem it was dissappointing since they were from LL BEAN. I will ask for a refund or compensation

The sizing is off. It is larger than what I normally get as size 8 in other brands.

I bought these for my husband who finally wore out his LLbean mocs after 8 years. This time he wanted something to cover his ankles. However, when he tried them on there was no support and he was walking on the sides. The size ran large. He did not like that he could not wear them outside. So, I sent these back and reordered what he had originally. He is finally happy.

The right one is fine. The left one lets my foot slip off the inside of the slipper thus I am walking on the side if the slipper. The soft inside lining is pulling away and showing the hard under parts.

I had high expectations buying from LLBEAN and paying enough money. I was disappointed after about a day of wearing them. I bought normal width because I don't have wide feet, but I found that the sole is narrow and does not provide stable support. It tends to rock from side to side unless you concentrate on stiffening your ankles. It is possible that I would have been happier buying wider ones, but then they would have felt large on my feet. I dont recommend these.

These slippers are stangely made and do not fit well. There is quite a bit of sole and slipper that projects behind the heel and when I walked, I stepped right out of them. They just are not sized properly. I live in my slippers and these were impossible to wear,

I ordered a pair of wicked good slippers for my husband and there is comething wrong with them. he seems to be walking on the sides of the slippers not the soles. We each have a pair of these slippers we have worn for years and love them...in fact have worn them out. I can't figure what is wrong with this new pair. Can you help?

I didn't know how these would fit. They are to tight for my feet.. I bought the mocosins that I had before. I know they are good.

Upper part of slippers appeared unfinished. Felt unsteady when I tried to walk in them. It felt like my feet were slipping off the sole portion of the slippers.

These were so uncomfortable and wobbly to walk in I thought they were defective-I sent them back. No form no shape no style, a far cry from the pics.

I am returning the mens slippers that I purchased a couple of weeks ago. I have had wicked good slippers for many years however, the last few pairs that I purchased have not been of the same quality - especially the mens. They are turning after only a couple of weeks wear. I notice the stitching on other slippers I have from LLB does not last as long as they did once. What's happening?

I returned them as they felt sloppy on my feet and I couldn't slide them on as well as a pair of moccaisons. I had wanted them because I was tired of re-tying the laces on my moc's. But these weren't the answer.

My husband has always worn a size 9 1/2 shoe. As directed for sizing of this slipper we sized up to a 10. The slippers were so big on his feet that he was tripping in them.
Needless to say I was greatly disappointed as these were the only item he had truly requested for Christmas. Not happy.

I wear size 12 shoes, so I ordered size 12 slippers. They were so large that I couldn't walk ten feet without them falling off. I returned them and requested a pair of size 11. They were so small that I could barely get into them and so tight that I couldn't bear to wear them.

I gave these slippers to my son for Christmas. By March they had disintegrated. The seams along the sole actually detached from the sides of the slippers. I do not understand this, as a previous pair of LL Bean slippers I had purchased for him lasted for years. I am in the process of returning these slippers.

I have been very pleased with all purchases from LL Bean except this one--the slippers were purchased by me and given as a gift. The recipient told me that after less than one week of wear, they began to fall apart. The stitching began to pull away from the thin and flimsy material, actually making a hole in the slipper between the upper and lower sections. I was extremely embarrassed by giving what I thought was a nice gift, only to have it be made with substandard materials and workmanship. These slippers are just not at all up to the high standards I've always seen with LL Bean products. They are currently in the box and will be returned to you shortly.

Slipper manufacturer has obviously changed...for the worse. This is the 4th pair of these slippers I have had and they are by far inferior to the previous pairs. In just 3 months, the plush lining has already worn down to leather in two places. I will probably not buy another pair.

Bought two pairs of slippers for Christmas Presents. The stitching almost immediately started coming undone on the pair I gave my Father, and he threw them away after a few weeks. The pair I gave my brother is encountering the same problem, but not as severe. Since they were the same size, this defect may be limited to a bad batch. I would not recomend this product.
