Bought these for my husband. They look great online. When we received them however we were not impressed. The wool fleece is nice and soft and thick, but the leather is very thin. When my husband went to pull them on using the tab at the back of the shaft, the seam ripped out. Since that is the way to pull the slipper on, I would think it would have been constructed with more care. This was not a manufacturing flaw in this particular pair, the leather is just too thin to stand up to repeated tugging to get it on. For a slipper that costs almost $100 that is unacceptable. Returned.

This shoe was poor quality for the high price. I expected better than this. The back of the shoe tore like paper when putting the shoes on so I sent them back as soon as possible. I was really disappointed because it was the style of shoe I wanted and I thought L L Bean carried better quality than this!!!!

These were a major disappointment. The slippers are far too narrow and too short in length. And they are outrageously overpriced. This is definitely my last purchase from LLBean.

The soles of these slippers are two-tiered, so that with almost every step I took I lost my balance. I would step on the more narrow, bottom-tier of the sole, and then my foot would roll to the wider part of the sole, higher up, closer to the ankle. This feature unfortunately overrides any positive quality these slippers have, such as warmth and covering the ankle.
I wish that the slippers could have the same type of completely flat sole that they were made with several years ago when I bought my first pair.

No heel box, my heel slides left/right and partially off the sole. This makes them very uncomfortable to walk around the house in, Think walking on a shoe with 1/2 the heel removed. Makes your ankles bend. I ordered 1/2 size smaller as others reccomended and the fit is good. I have to send them back and order a different style. I wore out a pair of slippers that look like these but are from somewhere else (gift). They were great to walk in untill the rubber sole peeled off, also the lamb skin was twice as thick. I can't believe others rated these so high, They look great and feel wonderful but if you can't walk in them, you get only one star.

I received a pair for Christmas in 2012. Not 3 months later, the slippers are coming apart. The leather strip that holds the upper and sole together is failing at the stich line. I expected better quality from LL Bean.

There is NO support in these slippers I bought for my dad. He nearly twisted his ankle in them since they were practically flopping around. Definitely returning them. We did buy the mountain lodge slippers and they are fantastic.

The insides quickly matted up around the toes. Did not feel comfortable at all. I've worn out 3 pairs of this brand of slippers and never had a problem until I got the recent pair that I returned.

Lately my feet have really hurt when they get cold. My wife had a pair of these and she recommended them. I thought $79 was high, but if they kept my feet warm they'd justify the price.
They fit on the tight side, I wear a 10 1/2 and the 11 is still tight. The fur on the bottom that you feet rest on bunches up and is like walking on gravel with your socks on.

This item, made in China was a big disappointment compared with the same item purchased years ago. Instead of woolen fleece lining it appeared to be synthetic and not nearly as warm. In addition the fit was sloppy, and the heel unstable. I would NOT buy this item again

These are probably my 3rd or 4th pair of Wicked Good slippers I have bought in my lifetime and have always loved the comfort and durability of them.....until now. When did you guys change the way they are made? The sides are now flimsy with no support. As I am writing this I have on my old pair bought years ago and they are still strong and supportive on the sides. The new ones are almost like wearing heavy socks! Why change a good thing? They were great before with great fit, comfort, durability, warm, you name it! Very unhappy that I have to return these old favorites and search for a new pair. Sincerely disapointed faithful customer

My wife bought me these for Christmas, after wearing them for a few hours my feet were in such pain I've never put them on since. They're like walking a tight rope, the centre is too narrow and your foot is constantly adjusting to keep from slipping to the sides. My wife now uses them to keep her feet warm but even she finds them uncomfortable for walking on (though they're a bit too big for her anyway). Maybe its revenge, last xmas bought her LL Bean socks that fell apart after one wearing. Not a happy customer...LL Bean used to be so much better.

One of the slippers pushes the foot unnaturally to the left. Not good for walking, or probably durability.

They are a wonderful slipper, according to my husband, but, according to me, outrageously expensive. Because of the fact that he has bought a pair every other year for the past 7 yers, I had to buy them. I will try to find a less expensive pair next time.

I wear a 10 wide and ordered these slippers looking forward to warm feet for the winter. They were marked 10 wide, what they are I have no idea, to say they were too big is putting it mildly, not only were they very wide but also long enough to want to fall off and my foot slid around inside them. Perhaps I should have ordered a narrow 1/2 size smaller but have never used a 91/2 in any footwear. I was very disappointed and after having to pay return shipping will reconsider ordering footwear from LL Bean again.

After wearing them for a couple of days around the house I noticed my right heal slipping partly off the sole of the slipper. After a week it's become worse and I haven't been able to correct the problem by paying more attention to my foot position. It looks as if the heel of the sole is sewn off a little to one side. $79 for poor quality control. I'll have to try and return them but of course I thought "what can go wrong with slippers" and I threw the box and paperwork away. Wish me luck.

This was the second pair of these slippers. While they look good and are comfortable, they are not manufactured correctly as one's foot tends to walk on the stichs of the sole. On my first pair, it was a defect in the right slipper and in the second slipper it was the left. I do not have any leg or food problems.
I will never purchase this type slpper in the future.

I bought one pair years ago and they were great. Lasted a long time. Finally, after wearing out I replaced them with a new pair last year. The new pair lasted one season before they ripped on the outside seam. Giving Leon the benefit of the doubt, I ordered a replacement. Size 10M. The new ones are just like the replacements: too narrow and short. I wear a 9 1/2 D shoe.

I purchased 2 pair of these slippers for my husband and me. My pair are wonderful(women's size9). My husband's(men's size 13EE) were sewn crooked and walked off his foot sideways. I purchased 2 more pair for him with even worse results, all of the larger slippers were lopsided. The only good thing about the larger size is LL Bean's return policy.

Not the best product. Material is flimsy and does not fit well. I was expecting a more durable pair of slippers. Very disappointing.

After three months of daily use, the binding that connects the sole of the slipper to its upper fell apart. I have tried repairing it with string, but, understandably, this is even less sturdy than the original product. The slippers felt wonderful while they lasted, but I can't justify spending this amount of money for three months of use.

I ordered the same size slippers that I have purchased from you in the past ( 3 ). The new slippers were to short and to narrow. They hurt my feet. I was very dissapointed and have returned the product.

My husband loves the wicked good moc slippers, so I got him a pair of these thinking they'd keep his ankles warm too. So disappointed. First pair slid sideways on his feet and wore down on the side. We thought it was that pair. LLB sent us a replacement pair and the same thing happened. Returned and bought some more of his beloved moc slippers.

Left foot slips off the sole and I end up walking on the side of the slipper which caused my foot to twist to the inside.
Years ago when wearing this style of slipper I was going down the stairs and my foot twisted to the inside causing me to lose my balance and breaking my foot.
It seems as though this design problem has not been corrected.
Sending slippers back to L.L.Bean for a refund.
