Approximately 1 yr ago, I purchased men's wicked good slippers. The left sole slipped to the right in such a way that I was forced to walk on the right side of the slipper. I thought it was just me. I have purchased this type of slipper for years and never had this happen, but thought it was just a fluke. So, loving the slippers as I do, I bought another pair. Now, the right sole of the slipper is moving towards the left, forcing me to walk on the right side of the slipper. BAD NEWS FOR $100 SLIPPERS. VERY UNHAPPY.

I have had a pair of these slippers for basically my entire adult life (at least 20 years or more). They were the BEST slippers. I decided to get another pair. BIG MISTAKE. These slippers are NOT what they used to be. They do not make the wide size anymore and that is a HUUUUGE problem; unless you have two sticks for feet, these will not fit and the sides of your foot will squeeze out the sides which will likely cause damage to your slipper. In addition, the tag they so delightfully added inside the slipper could not be in a more awful and annoying place. Looks like LL Bean's quality has deteriorated like their return policy.

Please bring back the wide sizing. The suggestion to go up a half size didn't help - still to narrow. Also, within 2 weeks the seems burst on the outside of the right slipper (probably due to being too narrow). The previous version (in half sizes and wide) did not have this problem. They still are amazingly warm and comfortable. I am returning to go up another whole size. But if those don't work, I will have to look elsewhere for my slippers.

I bought these to replace my old pair, and had to return them. The leather is thin, so thin that they don't stand upright properly. I couldn't slip my feet in without sitting down to do it by hand as I would to put on socks. The fleecy wool layer is also much thinner. These are not up to LL Bean quality, and are certainly not worth $95. They were a complete disappointment.

After 20 years faithful service, my husband's Wicked Good slippers in wide width are still in pretty good shape, just the shearling has worn down. What should have been an easy birthday gift replacement has turned into a ridiculous quest to find anything in wide width! My husband loves his old slippers in this style. They are comfortable and warm. We'd really like to replace them but he can't fit his foot into the slipper even when we ordered one size up. Please bring back wide width!

I've been being these for years in size 8W. Now the wide width is gone. I'm going to have to look elsewhere since I don't fit in regular width footwear. BOOOOO!

I got these hoping to replace an old pair that has been well used for many years, but I'm super disappointed by the width and the discontinuation of the Wide width. The sole is practically shaped like a dress shoe with tapered toes, not a comfortable slipper! WIll be returning and looking for options elsewhere.

I love these slippers. Unfortunately they just don't last. Usually the stitching comes out on one of the heals within 6 months. This last pair that I've had for maybe that has totally ripped out on one side, the back on both and another side on the other. Not sure why. I'm assuming they keep using a cheaper distributor. Either way, paying $90 for something that doesn't last is horrible. The bad thing is, I have a hard time finding other slippers that are as comfortable. So like an idiot I'll probably buy these again. Seems I go through about 2 pair a year.

Initially, loved these as they felt exquisitely snug and comfy. However, 2-3 weeks out, a seam in the left slipper started to go. I exchanged them for a new pair. The second pair felt equally good - but the same seam on the left slipper also started to tear. I would have mended these myself, but the rip was near the balls of the foot, making it quite impossible. I kept these around for 2-3 months before returning them -- during which time the rip expanded making them impossible to wear. I returned them a second time. Got a phonecall from LL Bean, asking if I had worn them outside (of course not!) and saying I was free to get them again, but they would not accept a third return. I wish they were made better. At this price, such shoddy construction is unacceptable.

This pair did not last through its second winter. One slipper is coming apart at the seam between upper and sole after the stitching wore through and broke. No warranty is offered. My first pair lasted several years.

These slippers have one flaw: the stiching for the soles. The stiching pretty much touches the floor and eventually they rip open and the sole comes off. This is my first pair and it is just getting ready to fail. My wife has gone through 2 or 3 pairs of these and her current pair is flying apart. We aren't going to ever buy tbese again. Very poor design.

Will not stay flat. Bottom is not rigid enough. Tends to roll.

I've bought two pairs of these over the past few years. In both cases, the stitching has pulled out within a couple months. I'd hoped the first was a fluke, but with the second pair doing this now, I fear LLBean quality has really gone downhill.

It was noted that initially the slippers might not fit correctly, however, after you wore them for a while they would eventually conform to one's feet. I have been wearing them for a while now (weeks) and they still do not fit properly. The padding on the bottom of the slippers has settled uneven (more on the inside, less on the outside).

I bought these for my dad and he wasn't even able to walk more than a few steps. The way the sole is made on the bottom leaves an uneven surface around the edges. I tried them on thinking it was just his feet and even standing in them my feet would roll to the sides causing my ankles to turn. They need better construction on the bottom so the seams aren't a different level than the main sole.

I bought these for my husband because a few years ago I bought them for my son who bragged how good they were. I ordered my husband a size 12 Wide. He said they felt awkward. As though the sole was made for a Medium width, very narrow. His feet were larger than the sole. I have returned these slippers

I was very disappointed in these slippers. L.L. Bean does a phenomenal job with all of their slippers but this was a miss. I ordered them for their height to cover my ankles since I always get cold feet. I think if the feet were narrower, it would be a much more snug fit. But these are just too loose on my feet. Also, these stain super easily so be sure to spray them with something like scotch guard before you wear them around the house!

I have 3 new pair of these things that I can not wear because of the hard lumps on the inside of the bottom!

I bought a pair of these slippers years ago and they lasted for years. I bought a pair a year ago and they did not last one year. I tried again a month ago. They wore in the insole and sole unevenly in lest than a month. They squeaked when I walked. They were too uncomfortable to wear.

First order of 8D had the right slipper WAY too small to the point of being painful. This order of 9EE had the left slipper WAY too big. My feet are the same 7 1/2 size. The slippers from both orders were mismatched sizes. LL Bean wants me to pay for return shipping when the problem is their non-existent quality control. I will be looking elsewhere for my next pair of slippers.

My spouse gave these to me 2 Christmases ago. In January of this year, the stitching on the left slipper broke causing the sole and upper to seperate. I tried to return them as defective at local LL Bean store. The manager said it was due to the way I walked and wouldn't replace them. I expect more than 13 months use from LL Bean slippers. I've been a loyal customer for nearly 40 years, ALWAYS first checking to see if LL Bean has what I'm looking for. So I'm saddened by this experience because it made me realize LL Bean is now just another store.

Very disappointed. Not up to LL Bean usual quality standards. Ordered up size and they still did not fit. Color was really not as pictured. Material quality is poor. I sent them back.. Was further disappointed that I had to pay for a return that was due to these issues.
